I might be too scared to turn up.

Somebody is letting off fireworks around here now, so I am going to investigate why that might be.

I think we'd all get drunk first, then take it from there.

Gorgeous day here so we're off to the woods for a traipse. The garden is looking at us accusingly, implying that it could do with some attention, but we're ignoring it.

Morning all - nearly!

Lovely day here, sun shining but not too hot.
Melony is at a very grown-up party - cinema and McDonald's!
We two old fogies are going to have a crack at the garden, prompted by the need to bury the cat (!) - the vets have had her on ice for us!
We're going to make a little memorial patch and put some nice plants etc in, as we've lost all four of our moggies in three years and still have two in their little cremation boxes on the bookshelf... time to move on, methinks. They can all go out there with the old lady cat who I buried when M was a tot, and we can go there when we want to remember them. It's a nice peaceful garden/jungle with a good view, so perfect for the purpose. And in a few weeks we can start thinking kittens...

That's because it's so gorgeous outside snOwy, innit! It's been pretty much perfect here, so we've been outdoorsy bats again.

handy - that's a lovely idea, the memorial patch. And the kittens too actually. Can I pencil myself in for a visit about then? I'll bring Fat Rascals.

Amicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

KJ said he was in shock and not silly when I texted him, but that was around seven, so...
He also says Hull away next season... heaven help us all

Three stunning sunny days in a row - bit of a bitey wind here today, but lovely and bright. Been swimming/half drowning with M, who is determined to learn to "dive" and constantly plunges her head under the water, only remembering to hold her breath about 70% of the time and spending the other 30% snorting, sneezing, coughing and belching like a rhinocerous to get rid of the excess water in her airways. Very relaxing!

Tomorrow is Grown Ups to the Cinema day... Star Trek here we come...

I have avoided the demon of drink between my birthday and the playoffs to placate the fates. Oops!

Twould be lovely to have you
WE can have kitty cuddles and go somewhere nice for lunch and have a walk and then eat cake/ice-cream and then come back here for tea...

I doubt we'll have the spare room cleard by then, but there's a Premier Inn about 20 minutes drive away if you want to stay over. The Travelodge is closer but they're always a bit of a gamble, I find

My head very definitely hurts, I am having the day off. We couldn't get out of Wembley afterwards due to the queues at train and tube so ended up going for a meal while they subsided. I broke rule #1 and helped someone with a bottle of red wine which is a no-no with beer.
