I got a kiss on the cheek by a very beautiful woman yesterday (blonde Caucasian by appearance), and I kissed her on the cheek as well. Essentially, she was wearing very little.
Back story. I went to London yesterday and just happened to casually notice her in a pub I had gone to, The Rocket. Then apropos of nothing, one the group of guys, who that she was with, asked me to take a photo of all of them on their mobile phone, which I did and apparently the photo turned out fine. Another guy in the pub told me the Commercial bonfire society firework display, held annually in Lewes, was the best one to watch on their bonfire night, as he used to live there. Then, I met a another group of people, including the most gorgeous and beautiful black woman I've ever seen. I was invited to do the monopoly pub crawl in London with them, but by the time I got to the pub, they were next going to, they had moved on. I was going to meet them in the Victoria & Albert. Number 9 in the list below. http://monopolypubcrawl.org.uk/route/original All in all, a very interesting day, with many women wearing next to nothing, and as a bloke (heterosexual etc.), you can't help but look.

Very appropriate jra, given snOwy's post just above.
![]() Boiling here and I think I'm starting to come round to handy's way of thinking. But at least everything that could possibly be washed in the batcave has been done and all we need to do tomorrow is throw some stuff in suitcases go.

Sunburn. Owch. Thought I'd stayed out of it, as well - must have been when I was in the back garden with Melony, but I thought I'd stayed under the trees!
Anyway, she had a riot playing out there all day - paddling pool, bucket of water, bubble mixture and various bottles and pots. And we ate our lunch out there, too - very civilised. At least tonight the folks up the road aren't having the World's Loudest Party so we can leave the windows open for a bit. They were still shrieking and carrying on at half one in the morning yesterday But all I can hear tonight is swifts and blackbirds. Much nicer!

Sweltering here too, but I nearly fainted yesterday for a completely different reason.
Here, I'm stupidly excited. We so rarely have an opportunity to get away together, and even when we do Batman usually wants to stay put, what with all the travelling he does, so this week I'm a very happy batty. The only cloud on my horizon is the one threatening to bring in a huge thunderstorm mid week. Having said that, even one of those can be lovely when temperatures get really high. So no grumps from me.

I hope you're okay.
Yes, I'm pretty forward. There is no point in beating around the bush at my age, you know, giving out all the bullshit. I'll talk to virtually anyone that I happen to meet when going out. |

Hi
Hope you're all enjoying the weather as much as me. Took a tumble last week and sprained my ankle which is now rainbow coloured - fading thank goodness. I am having the mother of all social lives in the meantime - but I have to be ferried back and forth since I can't drive - hence it's always my turn to drink. Heigh ho! The rest of the time I sit in my garden with my feet up. I lurve rollercoasters. I've been on loads and my favourite is often the one I've just been on! Universal is my favourite place to go for them so far... And I booked a Baltic cruise next week with my mum. We are struggling to fit in all the places we want to see in St. P. If you've been please tell me your favourites. |

Super-irritatingly, the surgery have cancelled Mr M's ingrown-toenail-removal op with two days notice... so now I'm having to re-organise the whole of next week.
I'm not a grumper as a rule, but I am this time. I HATE REARRANGING STUFF AT SHORT NOTICE!!!!

I'll keep that in mind handy. Not because of the toenail but, well, we all know what I'm like.
![]() What I popped in for, though, is to say a quick hi before I get on the plane. The mother of all storms is brewing and I'm ever so slightly thinking that this might be an interesting ride. Eeeeeeeeeek! |

Safe flight BG ![]() My grump today is garages ... when I drop my car off at 8am for a service and MOT I do not expect to be told at 4pm that they've only just started the work and therefore don't have time to replace the corroded brake pipe which caused it to fail said MOT. I can't get it back to the garage until Wednesday (date of expiry of current MOT) and have a lot of miles to do in between now and then.Very Grumpy Indeed.

Am just fed up with the appalling service you 're expected to tolerate these days.
The reaction I got when I complained about having to bring it back was 'well, we didn't realise you needed it done today'. Why would ANYONE choose to have to go back a second day? It's not rocket science - either they took on too much for the day, in which case had they said so up front I'd have rescheduled the whole thing, or they simply didn't plan the work sensibly - ten year old car, wanting service and MOT, might be a plan to get it done first thing in case we need to order parts... let alone fit the bloomin' things. Grrrrrrrrrr.[/rant] Hope BG wasn't flying out of Heathrow

There seem to be so many hoops you have jump through when flying these days, according to the airline type programmes you see on the telly. If you turn up even one minute late for check in, you are liable to miss your flight and as airlines tend to overbook, assuming some people will not turn up, it's anybody's guess when you'll be able to catch 'the next flight'.
Hope you have a good flight BG. Needless to say, I'm curious to know where you are going and how it went. |
