I haz tr0ll3d da forumz

Like the train spotter I almost am, I memorize the forum numbers. GD is #22, Chatter #55. Of course any fule know #44 is Movies.

So I've posted "Secret forum!" on GD, to make a daft joke about "moving this thread to Chatter".

I know how to write a headline, so "Secret forum!" gets the eyeballs ... now it's a bloodbath in there!
Damn, I missed it Or at least when I clicked on the link it told me I didn't have permission to view the page so I'm guessing it's gone to... oh noes, a secret forum????

Evening all. It feels like Sunday but it's Friday. My week's gone all topsy turvey. And Snowy keeps coming up with 7 letter words

To the Dales we've gone away
Sorry about my PM box
I didn't know that I'd got lots!
I'll clear it out when I get home
And on the net have time to roam
Hoping grumpies are all fine
We are having a lovely time
KJ that pome was just dandy!
Thanks all, for the birthday wishes
Handy xxx

Fab stuff! Happy birthday handy.

Very, very wet here, so I hope the weather is being kind where you are.

I'm planning to use the day to sort through a mass of paperwork that's been growing on my desk. The boy, on the other hand, is offering to take me to the cinema if his mate is busy. And by take me to the cinema, he means I drive and pay. I'm so flattered by the offer.

Yikes

Hope you had a fab birthday yesterday HM. Here, the washing mountain has been replaced by a surplus clothing and box mountain of epic proportions.

Hope Little Plum is recovering and all is well out there in Grumpsville

Wet here yesterday but great today.
Been to Jervaulx Abbey, our favourite place ever, and eaten world's best icecream up at Brymor dairy.
Bliss!
*blows kisses*

I've been there, or it might have been

It was a long time ago. Nearly 30 years or so.

Insomnia sucks.

I went to sleep for a bit after 2am but then a serenading cat woke me up just after 3. And now I've a demented sounding magpie trying to tell the world something just outside of the bedroom window, so I don't expect to be getting any more sleep tonight.

Many bird songs are beautiful, but IMO, magpies, crows, rooks and seagulls, for example, do not fit into that category.

My mother used to dislike the dawn chorus.

I don't mind it if I've slept but last night was just so long and boring, and I start getting stressy if I have loads to do the next day. Which I have today, what with being away again.

So I'm feeling crap and trying to get on with stuff I absolutely have to do before we fly off.

I love 'em all, except seagulls, 'cos I am Palace.

Sometimes, when I'm in there, it is like putting my head into the crocodiles mouth.

GD used to be fun. I avoid it unless I'm in a very good mood, or when I need a giggle

With you on the insomnia, BG Hope you got the flight ok

Here, we are making a lot of fuss and bother over installing an extractor fan in son's bedroom to cool the air generated by his pc. Well, when I say 'we'....

I thought that was what PC cooling fans were for.

In my experience, Intel chips tend to run cooler than AMD ones.

Nope, the cooling fan cools the pc down and sends warm air into the bedroom... which being a small and confined space, becomes Very Warm Indeed. Extractor fan now blasts warm air out into the garden. Hoping this will reduce complaints from neighbours about swearing and general noisiness from wide open window at 3 a.m. since window will no longer be open........................................................ *sigh*

In other news, I've gone right off bloody Hotmail (as was) which is refusing to let me send emails and has been all week (well, since Tuesday night). I have found a solution but it's a PITA.
