Ooh, Sad, setting me a good example!

Kitties are here - three lovely little boys called Diego, Manny and Sid. When I can get Diego to come out from under the kitchen table I'll do pics!

Signed up with a supply agency yesterday. At least two weeks till I get my clearance through to work - how sad. Not!

Hugs to all. Laura, hope you sleep better tonight.
Yay!!! Can't wait to see them!

LL - insomnia seriously sucks.

Here, we're all back in the batcave after a very all over the place week. Bliss. Well, it would be if the boys weren't about to start watching football. I'm a saint!

*sending vibes to Laura for a decent night's sleep*

Mr M is having his usual bout of Sunday-night-itis where he gets ratty because he hasn't managed to do all the things he wanted to do and he has to get up for work in the morning and it's late...
I've learned not to take it personally, but I do wish he'd chill out!

Spending half my life at the moment catching kittens in places they shouldn't be and putting them back where they should be
It's a good job they're gorgeous...

Aww, kittens.

LL - you have my sympathy with bells on. I didn't sleep a wink last night, but at least it's only an occasional thing for me. Sooooo boring, innit. And I'm knackered now.

But we had a hugely productive weekend and I can actually have a sneaky slob today and I don't think anyone will notice.

Evening people.

Back now from my one week holiday for using profanities (the entire thread was removed, plus three posts from another thread, talking about me in the removed thread ).

In other news, I had a tenant move out and another move in the same day, a first for me with no advertising required, as the new chap has lived here previously and gave me a phone call to say he wanted a room. So, in terms of timing, it's worked out very well.

That's what you want, eh, jra - smooth running.

I ended up with another Mum and four of M's friends here today - chaos but fun!

I also fought a battle with technology and won - yay me!

Only one day of the summer hols left - I'm half sad and half delighted...

Features on the end credits of The 51st State. Needless to say the film contains very many expletives.

Greetings from the last day of the summer hols!
Melony and I have had a day out at Hull Transport Museum which is ace, and had lunch in a really nice cafe - bacon sarnie for me, toast and jam for M. And a cuppa. Lovely!

Right - supermarket, home, feed cats, domestic godessery... AKA "mucking out"!

Hi handy.

Have you been here and what was it like, if I may ask?

Thanks LL.

I agree with you. I hope they don't close it.

Same with Pete Waterman (of PWL, Stock, Aitken and Waterman etc.), where he has an interest regarding Crewe Heritage Centre.

Before PW got more mainstream, the partnership produced records like from O'Chi Brown.

I enjoyed watching that as well.

Both her (Michaela Strachan) and the hitman (Pete Waterman) have contributed a lot in their future careers.

And also Princess aka Desiree Heslop.

Indeed. It was a regular Sat night/Sun morning feature of my glory years, when my sexual prowess was at its height, being out at a local nightspot, coming home with a takeaway and a floozie on ones arm, turn on the tv and watch Hitman & Her, live from some tacky nightclub in darkest Doncaster. Happy days

I was an indie Goff chick and would have sneered at you and put on another Sisters of Mercy single!

As for the NRM - we know and love it well. It's fascinating for little girls and their big boy daddies, and it has an excellent cafe!
Seriously - if you like trains (and I know you do!) you should treat yourself to a ticket and come up. It's like a Mecca for railway heads.

M has gone back to school and I'm in the house on my own with a gazillion things to do and no idea where to start. Well, that's not strictly true - I need to ring the Job Centre and make a list as long as my leg.

Hey-ho for the high life.

Hugs to all the busy peeps who haven't posted for a while - hope all is well.
And an extra hug for insomniac Laura - hopefully when (if) the weather cools down at the weekend that'll help.

Thank you handy. I could get an HST up there from Kings Cross, or even Stevenage.

Next time I go to Devon, it'll be an HST fitted with an MTU engine.
