At least you're going somewhere, I feel like a little hamster running on my wheel, working hard and getting nowhere

Hope your headache has cleared up now sNoWY, I had one like that last week that lasted a couple of days... I didn't notice it eventually go!

*sends soothing vibes for snowy's head*

*sends appropriate fuel for batty's last 300 miles*

*waves to busy Plum*

I'm decluttering and sorting at Melon Towers - doesn't happen often, but with M at school and Mr M at work I can throw stuff out with impunity. Mwah-hah-haaar! *evil grin*

Chins up, chaps - tomorrow is the weekend...

((((((((((busy grumpies))))))))))

You've reminded me that I need to make another intrepid expedition into the stinking pit of doom ..... aka YoungPlum's bedroom. I made a good start on it a few months ago and have mainly managed to keep the bits we cleared, clear ..... however, that leaves half the room untouched and it's scarey ... Rumour has it that there is a desk in the corner of the room, but at the moment, I'm going on faith as there is no visual evidence to confirm this.... just a massive heap of "stuff". I have a feeling that my "me day" when I have a weekday off on my own in a couple of weeks is going to involve a peg on my nose and the latest fashionista stylee hazmat suit. Worst of it is, that she isn't even a teenager yet - good lord what will life be like then ??

As for the weekend.... hurrumph! I'm working again tomorrow, so my "weekend" will be Sunday.

Hope all you lovely grumps have a good day!

Plummy's back!

Thanks for the fuel vibes handy - I made it home!

So, I'm now home alone for at least 2 hours... What to do, what to do... Put a wash on and tidy up or crack open a cold PG and watch some telly...

....^^^^ love how 'tidy up' didn't even make the list

Evening all, TGIF indeed. Sunday sees us moving Young Sad back to Uni for his final year though so today has mostly been spent doing that which KJ finds unmentionable and packing...

On the plus side, there will be room in the loft for all the boxes that have been lurking in my office and I might actually have room to get some work done

Cheers to all grumpies... I'm not hitting the vino this weekend, might go for an early night with a good book

It was never going to, was it.

We're doing the university run tomorrow. I suppose it's better than the other end of the year - university run plus all the de-grotting.

Mr M and Melony are both terrified of them - they don't bother me, though, so I am Crane Fly Remover in Chief!

Our bedroom is looking much tidier now and Mr M can hobble about without fear of bashing his latest bandaged toe - yes, another ingrown toenail bites the dust!

I'm jobhunting today, as you can see

As of now, this is how I will pronounce it. Always. In the manner of Fenella Fielding.

We're back from studenty droppings off. Fab room, very promising looking flat-sharers too, including one who is doing the same course but is a year ahead.

We're doing the Uni run today. Well, once we've had lunch and he's finished packing. I wanted to be back in time for Downton... it's not going to happen, is it?

Love crane flies, apart from when they buzz my ears at night.

If SnoWbes is back to normal I'd best up my scrabble game

Been swimming with Melony today - she can *nearly* take a breath without putting her feet on the bottom
I feel very fit and virtuous, so I've told her we can go again after school on Tuesday - that way I can't get out of it!

Hope all the Back To Uni people had safe trips and made successful deliveries

I've just realised I need to iron uniform for tomorrow!

Another week, another 1000 miles. More actually cos I'm jumping on a plane tonight. Who's with me?

handy - guess what, Sad's thoroughly hooked on the Game of Thrones and asking for more. Is the second one A Clash of Kings?

snOwy - good luck for Saturday!

I started to reply to this yesterday, got sidetracked and Mr M logged me out!!!

Anyhoo - yes, ACOK is next, then Storm of Swords (two parts), Feast for Crows and Dance with Dragons. I knew she'd love them

I'm writing this returning from an interview on a very hot train alongside lots of Uni students - I see a common theme developing this week!
