Anything other than JP and Craig staying the couple they've been for 4 years somehow and it's not even POSSIBLE to be 'sensitive' about it because it's the cruellest thing they could do to this wonderful love story.

There just IS no 'sensitvie' way of doing it. It's like finding the 'kindest' way to stab someone in the heart. Can't be done and the other person will still be dead however it's done..

Same with this. They're destroying McDean. it's can't be done in a 'sensitive' way.

I hadn't looked at the DS soaps forum for ages before Friday. When James is back filming I'll just avoid it all together and wallow in all the DVD's I have of old Hollyoaks and McDean.

I've just put on the DVD with Guy's hilarious backstage videos when he made the time, for his fans, to come back to England to do the Sunset Ending.
The bit where he's talking to James and his phone goes and it's 'Tom .... Cruise' is just hilarious, specially the look James gives the camera! lol
I'd prefer to remember and watch happy times like this and not the murder of a love story to come!

I don't like the idea of the pair being ruined as so many couples who have had the perfect ending have, but obviously people got to work and acting is a uncertain employment and soap work is regular and more secure pay and John Paul is a great character as long as his kept away from Ste or Doug I'll be happy.
