If he gets parole i mean, I dont think i can wait 10 years, thats unfair on us as the veiwer. Its only been a coule of months since he left and i already miss him so much.
I hope Phill tells him hes Lexis dad anyways |

I don't think there is any chance of parole for him so soon . We've got a very long wait before we see Benny boy again
Unless he escapes prison, but that would be a bit of a stretch of the imagination |

If he gets done for murder, a release in five years would require a completely ridiculous stretch of the imagination. The only way they could do something like that would be to go down the Tracey Barlow route; and that would just be silly.
Even if he only gets done for manslaughter, five years will still be highly unlikely. Realistically, we wouldn't see him for a good 10 years at least. And I hope they stick to that realism. Let him rest for a good while and then bring him back in in a decade or so. |

Manslaughter can be a prison sentance of about 5yrs to 10yrs depending on whether is voluntary or involuntary. So with good behaviour, 5yrs is a possibility!

If he does return hopefully they get Joshua back, an excellent actor and I think it'd be interesting to see him as a dad.

Prison will be sure to mess him up even more! I hope they go down the Mercedes way, pretending he is mental, and sent to a hospital, and be out in a few years? I know killing cant be justified, but they also did it with Jakes attempted rape and attempted Suicide! and he was out in a few years when he should have been is prison! |

Hopefully he will be back soon. He never really got the credit he deserved from the eastenders fans, considering how many exciting storylines he got. I reckon Lucy should fill in as the psycho troublemaker until Ben returns.

It would be unrealistic to bring him back as soon as 5 years.
I hope that Phil will be with EastEnders forever but 5 years is a long time. |

He will be sitting round the kitchen table come christmas tucking into a big fat bird. You know what our Justice System is like. Anyways, doubt Joshua will be back.

I hope that if Ben does come back, he's played by a different actor and his personality is completely different.

It would be good to him in his mid 20's which is about ten years off. Both a realistic time away and enough that we'll have forgotten him but still recognize him on his return (by the same actor or not). Hopefully he'll return more at peace with himself but prehaps with a little mean streak still at the of his mind - a future domestic violence storyline could almost write itself.

don't forget that if he got a 5 year sentence, he would only serve 30 months (2 and a half years)
