Viewing on BBC HD through a Foxsat HDR, noticed the sound is awful hollow and has a slight echo. When Bruce speaks his voice is awful low compared to everything else and difficult to understand. Just sounds a bit out of phase.

This happens both on the HDMI out to the LG Plasma and optical out to the amp. Foxsat has Dolby disabled.

Has anyone else noticed this, sounds fine now Merlin is on .....

Don't know if it's related but the singers sound pretty bad too. I've seen them on the DTTM tour and Lance with Anton and Erin and they were brilliant. Can't quite believe it's the same people based on when I see them on screen.

Found the culprit ..... the LG Plasma sound was set to "movie" for some reason and was creating the echo effect. Back to normal now.

Can't understand why it only affected Strictly and the lottery show. Hmmmmmm
