Does it not seem that no matter what the 'theme' is, Lucy can just sing her own songs? I just don't get it. IMO she's not that great.

The only week she can't do her own song will be the Movie Week.

What I mean is why should all the other contestants be judged on their performance of others' songs, when Lucy is allowed to sing her own compositions. Is that not an unfair advantage?

Why don't you contact Ofcom about it.

It was a cover, most of them do covers, most change them up abit(if they are smart) Are you sure you are watching the same show?

...Oh and of course she can't leave the N word in or the stuff about weed and other things that are liable to be reported to Ofcom

I think if they wrote there own sings they would be allowed to do that............ I think it is just the case that she is the song writer of this series.

Why not?I mean it makes a change from the same old sodding songs being re-done. X factors play list...

The Beatles
Michael Jackson
Bonnie Tyler
Take That
The Jacksons
ect ect...

They changed the rules this year and allowed singer songwritters in and for artists to perform with instraments so stands to reason in the live shows that they would also have to allow the same.... please try and keep up to date would save useless posts like this one

I totally agree. I've never been a fan of theme weeks. Why not let everyone sing what they're comfortable with? But it needs to be a level playing field...not just for one person.

I'm aware of that thank you, and take exception to your patronisation. My point was that Lucy's compositions seem to be cut to fit every 'theme' which is unfair to the other contestants.
