Sycnhronised clapping from the studio audience
Who's let this happen, then? They relentlessly attempt to clap along to anything remotely upbeat, mostly either getting the rhythm wrong or clapping to a song that doesn't fit it. You don't clap to Kanye West.
Aside from it being a very cheesy, tacky activity, it's distracting and must put off the singers who are trying to feel the song on stage. STOP DOING IT!! |

I hate it when the audience starts clapping along and even more so when they're either not with the rhythm of the song or not in time with each other.
