Good performance tonight but I fear not enough young fans will vote for her.

She has a good voice, but sadly isn't what The X Factor is looking for. I can't imagine she'll make it to the final.

I agree with every word of this, even down to the age! I could have written your comment.

I like her... the song was a cover of an Inxs tune... (an Australian band)... tear us apart...classic tune...also made more current...i think.... by it being in a John Lewis ad at the moment ...and personally I like the styling and the suit...a change from her usual hippy look...tho I know its a matter of opinion

Yes, I do. I'm 16, from England, and find her to be vocally incredible.

She simply wonderful, on a par with Ruth Lorenzo. I am from England and love the the still great Maggie Bell and she was from Glasgow. Melanie will not win but will get to the last 4 I predict.

I'm from Scotland and dont rate her. Her performances are really pompous, just shouty and loud. I can see why opportunity has passed her by on so many occassions. She doesn't have the X Factor , in fact I dont think she's even that likeable.

What have they done to her? She looked much older tonight with all that slap on.

Me too, apart from the age :-s. What has where you're from got to do with anything? She's a great rock singer, end of!

Same as you. I'm twenty (really need to change my side bit on here) and I love her. I've voted for her again. I love her voice and the type of music that I think she would do. Oh and I'm from England.
