Completely agree. I once had a look at a list of his writing credits, and aside from Take That songs I barely recognised any of them.

Also, as another poster pointed out - Rylan does actually seem to work hard to meet his (admittedly limited) potential unlike last year's joke act who was mentored by, shock horror, Saint Gary.

he was still fairly active co-writing tracks during his out of favour years, but no chart topping successes.

yeah, that is a good point actually. you never really felt frankie was giving it his all performance wise and the praised he heaped on him was unbelievable. quite literally.
