There were no backups in dc.. Except maybe in the 1st carnation with letoya and latavia.
Kelly was 2nd lead singer.

PCD was Nicole and her backup dancers. Kelly wasn't in the mainstream public eye enough to be in the public consionce after DC split.. But b was the breakout star, and that was determined from the survivor album

Did PCD break up? I thought they just replaced all the girls once Nicole went solo.

I like Nicole as a judge. I liked Kelly as well but I mainly saw her as the "funny american" and didn't really pay attention to her opinion. Nicole, I find myself agreeing with and she does come across as very likeable. She could be the only redeeming feature for me of this series.

I prefer Kelly tbh, but I am enjoying Nicole.

isn't there a new lineup now though? i often think nicole should return to the group whatever the lineup. for some reason, people in america will buy into the pussycat doll brand, but are not interested in nicole as a solo artist.

I liked Kelly in the auditions but as the lives progressed I disliked her more and more. She was just too OTT for me.

Nicole has the balance just right. I really hope she stays.

Last year I liked Tulisa, this year less so. I haven't really worked out whupping yet, she is a bit subdued I think.
