Those of you that have watched X Factor USA

Which one of our acts would make the USA Xfactor final 16?

I personally think none of them, but at a push maybe Jade,

Anyone else?

I'm watching it at UK pace so I don't know who the final 16 are yet. I'd think Jahmene would be the only one with a chance of making it as the boys category looks pretty weak on USXF imo.

The boybands. The two boybands in XFactor USA are just so crap (I haven't seen which ones have made live shows but just speaking on those who I saw at Judges House). I don't get why people rate them.

Ella, Jade and Jahmene I'd say.

Ella would, I don't think Jade would even make Judges Houses tbh

I don't think Jade would. There's a handful of really good girls on the US version this year.
Possibly Melanie would, because the Overs category is dominated by men so they'd need a good woman.

The 2 13 year old girls are miles better than Ella.

Overs: Carolynne, she would have done well too because she's country
Groups: Union J and maybe MK1 to judges houses
Girls: Jade and Ella could have both made it to judges houses. I don't think America would understand what Lucy is all about.
Boys: None.

Union J would have a chance on looks alone, Jade would have a shot.

Lucy might well have a chance because she does her own stuff and the US is a lot more friendly to folksy styles.

James has the voice but wouldn't fit in the US, but Melanie would have a good chance of sneaking in there. Oh yea, Carolynne might have been in there.

I think that's the reason why should WOULDN'T make it. The country genre is very competitive in America so the bar would have to be very high. Carolynne is good for UK country standards, but in the US she wouldn't cut it at all.

XFUSA has more grit than the UK version, and if the UK contestants performed same way as they did tonight, most of them wouldn't have stood a chance because of the song choices.

Just Ella and Jade , clearly.

I don't think a single act from UK XF would make it to the lives of XF USA. Ella seems to be considered the best this year, but there's girls in XF USA who can hit notes that Ella could only dream of hitting and who have a lot more stage presence and confidence. Even Ella wouldn't make it through over there.

Personally I would say none of them but really its down to personal taste.

I go to a small fansite of usa x factor , rough only 4000 people and have posted most of our acts over here for them,

The general opinion was, none of them rated Ella very highly.
Most of them thought Jahmene was better than any male they had.
And strangely enough Melanie was also very popular with them

The standard wasn't that great on us x factor 1st series
Marcus Canty was awful
The young crying girl was more of a novelty because she's young.
They had a rapper who i don't even remember singing
The winner had an amazing voice but a lot of the others were a bit patchy. Also a couple of the groups were average. Ella and Jahmene could have got on. If the rapper was on there then Lucy could have made it too despite not being a good singer.

I agree, their 1st season was a lot poorer than this season, what i found this year thought was they were shocked at the lack of support for Carolynne, the love of country music is very deep seated and they liked her(which i didn't) but many of them said we needed to send her to nashville where she would be appreciated lol

Really? What fansite did you go to?

All the X Factor USA sites I've been to have been annoyed at her poor "country imitation" schtick.
