I always thought this about Louis but he somehow managed to get away with it as he had the overs most years. However, when I heard he had the groups this year, I did fear for them and thought the fact he has no idea what is current would show up. I think the last couple of weeks have proved me right. He has no idea what to do with acts apart from bland ballads or camp nonsense. Union J only managed to be ok because he didn't choose their song. He did the same last time he had the groups and almost turned JLS into Westlife clones. He's great as a judge for his bitchy comments but as a mentor, he's useless
