Rylan - Sigh
I think we may be suffering him for a few more weeks. I would also just like to comment on the female caller on the XTra Factor who was quite aggressively suggesting that it doesn't matter because this is an entertainment show. I have had much to say on this subject and yes it is but predominantly it is a SINGING COMPETITION. The person who wins will get a contract. The other point is that Rylan is not in the least bit entertaining and all the moves and staging are put together by third parties. So not original in that aspect either.

It stopped being just a singing competition years ago, think we just have to deal with it or stop watching!

It's not a singing competition. I think that stopped after they accepted the best singer ever to come out of XF is going to be Leona. It really is an entertainment competition and Rylan wins hands down as an entertainer. No amount of sighing is going to change this fact.

work out how long the show is over 2 nights and how much of that time is people actually singing.
Family entertainment show. The judges get much more air time than the contestants. |

True but I'm hopeful that this years winner is going to be a singer with talent and last night the winner showed that in abundance.

Rylan's performances are only "entertaining" because the producers blow the entire weekly staging budget on him.

I must admit, the fashionista pandas were entertaining for 10 seconds in a WTF ay but then the *singing* killed it off

Mind you, I couldn't understand half of what she was singing so maybe her song did match the theme.
