Is Theresa in Hollyoaks being used to her full potential?

Jorgie Porter is a little gem in my opinion and I think Theresa needs to come to the fore a bit more in the show and become as big a character as say Dodger.

Is theresa getting the right kind of storylines and being used enough?

God i hope Jorgie stays for a good while yet.

GOD NO she's in it way too much as it is:sleep:

and what do you mean used to her full potential, she eats up every episode.

I just feel that shes layered as a character and theres much more that the writers can and should explore while theyve got Jorgie in the cast.

I think Jorgie Is a great actress

I didn't think she Wouk be great, but the scenes around and after her murdering Calvin is probably some of her best work, it was amazing and that was all down to her because the story itself wasn't the most well-executed thing!

I think later renewed my love for Theresa

I agree with you here. Never really saw the fuss about Theresa and wasn't too fond of her acting ability but her scenes in this year's Later were fantastic, especially the scenes where Mick was dragging her around the Ghost Train. I do think she is a bit of a spare part but I also like her relationship with Joel. She is beginning to act a little like her mother which some see as "THEY'RE CHANGING HER CHARACTER FOR STORYLINES!" but I see as her developing into what influenced her growing up, despite her initial fear of this. I didn't think she had any chemistry with wooden Will (sorry to Jorgie and James!) so glad they put a stop to that. She had much better chemistry with Warren and this has been passed on in her relationship with Joel. I'm sure this is just the beginning of Theresa's real character development.

I'd say she's being used way beyond her full potential. Joel is the best thing that has ever happened to her, though.

With her being a McQueen and dating Joel, that means she's involved in a lot of SL's - McQueen related stuff (when she remember's who they are other than her free childminders like while she's been away with Joel. I know Myra was the one who decided Kathleen-Angel wasn't going with her and Joel, but still she's her daughter) and anything to do with Joel and that means at times with Brendan too (like HO Later) due to Joel's involvement with Brendan. That is more than plenty in my mind.

She being used way beyond her potential and too much. I find her soo irritating her acting consists of biting her lips, playing with her hair and giggling.
Her being Calvins killer was rubbish, since there hasnt been.any continuation. The way she acts you'd never know she killed her daughters father. I would like her to get axed along with her mate Liberty.

I never liked her whatsoever but for some reason I thought she was brilliant in Later. I hope they continue to go down the bad girl route with her rather than her being all butter wouldn't melt.

I think she's being used in a way that highlights her specific talent.
