no, no, no... now Colin is stylish. I did think for a while of starting a campaign to force everyone () to preserve this wee fellow ---> purely for Colin's personal use on the forum. Was going to stage Colin: the Debate for several weeks, followed by Colin: the Referendum to thoroughly air views and make sure we were making the best decision for all. But ran out of steam whilst still designing leaflets. I couldn't find a bit of paper big enough to include Colin's head (or his feet) at the same time. I think he might have been out of the comp by the time we'd thrashed out the matter to everyone's satisfaction in any case.

Colin is stylish and cool, so there!

Think of it this way. Would Colin look better or worse with a Pontefract Cake on his head?

Better probably. He'd certainly look a little less like a lounge lizard.

If both wore Pontefracts on their heads then as lovely as Colin is, I think Louis and his Pontefract would win the battle of the Pontefracts in a Pontefract off!

Are you wearing minimising specs? That's Lounge Dragon, at the very least. Maybe Lounge Tyrannosaurus [sp?]

Fighting talk.

We should do it. I'm sure they already do something like this in Pontefract itself each autumn as the nights close in and spirits drop.

Let Battle Commence!

Oh, this is apropos of nothing except I thought it very sweet... Kristina got a tweet from a fan saying that her five-year-old daughter liked K and C best, or as the daughter put it: 'the pretty lady and the man with the brown head'. Awwww and

Perhaps you would like to look again at the link in Dilly 1's post, above. (Louis Smith - one of the ten best groomed men of the moment) and compare it with an actual picture of the bowl cut which you have been mentioning a lot.

http://menshair.about.com/od/picture...Z/Bowl-Cut.htm

Couldn't be more different.

I've managed to get the first link open which appears to be a lot of rich guy's led by David Beckham spending a lot of money in an attempt to try and look like tramps with their tramp beards, quite bizarre.

I find it quite bizarre that you find designer stubble quite bizarre.

Designer stubble is a lazy mans fashion statement.

I don't know about that - that's usually a statement made by men who can't grow a beard.

Well I don't know about Louis daily ablutions routine, but I do know that you wouldn't see Justin Bieber or jedward leaving the house without a shampoo, shave and a shower.

I think Bieber and Jedward don't need to leave the house without a shave so much as milk and a dummy.

You have to be a Connoisseur of the quality confectionery store that stocks the delightful Haribo sweeties.

Terry, I thought you were veggie? I am too and have learned you have to be really careful with that kind of product. Always read the label cos most have gelatine. Ditto mousse, many shop-bought cheesecakes... all kinds of thing that you wouldn't associate with cow or pig. Haribo for sure. They have a veggie range but you'd need to search them out online.
