I'm seriously concerned for what the ratings are going to be next week.... A Melanie exit was the worst possible thing for the show this week... She had one of the best performances of the night before and she's a nice older lady with the biggest voice of the competition, and she's unfairly in the bottom 2, and even more unfairly sent home.

I think and I hope that the ratings will go down even more, with the show losing most of its older audience.

And someone please wash Tulisa's ears, or explain to her what are "great harmonies", one of those two things is wrong with her.

Oh, and now we're certain that Ella will win, she's the only big voice remaining in the competition.

I hope the ratings fall to shit.

It's not even pretending to be a singing contest anymore.

They could do and I hope they do, the show is wearing thin now.

Lol, no. They might lose Melanie's family, that's about it.

I cannot complain as i do not vote and she received the least votes, but the 'Great Harmonies' comment did make laugh as they were awful in parts.

Nope. She wasn't very likeable. She's had umpteen opportunities to make it big and never come through them either. People need to face facts, she isn't star material.

They'll stay exactly the same, which is just above 8m, 2m below strictly and not great really.

The PR stunt last week didn't work - ratings went down

This week the best singer (out of the bottom 2) was voted out - I I think they will decline more week on week - Strictly's audience is gonan grow as a result most probably (even if there is no overlap)

Just dont watch is all I say.

I have watched continuosuly for the past 9 years. Each year something happens that makes you think what a pile of crap I cant be asked to watch this anymore, but I did.

Last weeks events were just so ridiculous, I havent watched this weekend and dont intend watching again. The whole thing is a complete farce and Louis Walsh doesnt have a clue about anything. Funny at first but really irrititating now.

Just come on these forums on a Sunday night and read the comments absolutely hillarious. You can still gather without even watching the circus.

Not watching has freed up good three hours of my weekend whoo hoo!

People thought ratings would drop this week, cause of the whole controversy. But ratings were the same. I doubt much difference will change next week!!!

I think that's happened already, and probably explains why two of the the overs have gone so soon over inferior acts. The older audience probably saw through the ruse last year if not earlier, and switched off.

That goes for most of them, though.

They did drop - not by a huge amount - but they dropped... even after some posters said they would rise as people would tune in to see the fuss.

I think that's happened already, and probably explains why two of the the overs have gone so soon over inferior acts. The older audience probably saw through the pantomime last year, if not earlier, and switched off. Leaving just the young 'uns, many of whom think it's all real and have no idea who Janis Joplin was.

Of course, the producers might be looking for an excuse to ditch the Overs category. Two or more overs going out in a row (and I can't see the other two lasting much longer, unless Kye has a blinding week next week) could "conveniently" give them the excuse they need.

This whole series has been aimed at the ITV2, TOWIE, Twitter obsessives type crowd. It's surprising how they're not even trying to appeal to the older crowd any more, especially as they've shown in previous years they can vote on mass (Tesco Mary)

I doubt anyone was watching just to watch a shouty old lady, she was boring and D3 were great in the sing off (poor last night) so she deserved to go.

Your asking a girl with no talent , contribute with intelligent replys. She is so scripted her new name should be autoque. And so far up Louis arse she will be washed out at his next colonic.

Yes seriously, one or two flat notes but mostly great harmonies and a good take on a classic, sung with real conviction. They do need to do something more up to date next week though.
