Joey, Whitney, Lauren, Lucy next week
So he's been playing 3 girls and they all decide to deviously plot to team up and confront him to teach him a lesson.
This all seems very farmilier

God I hate Joey with a passion . Add copious amounts of Syed and his 'investment' means I'm not particularly looking forward to next week

Hmm I have a feeling I'm going to find these scenes boring. The plot and what they do to him sounds dull (especially since Lauren saves him and he becomes even more cocky). I might have enjoyed this SL more if the plot was a success.

.To be honest, the storyline sounds so familiar and recycled that it just makes me yawn, but I was looking forward to it because I thought Joey would get some comeuppance. But now if what you're saying is true, then I have zero motivation to watch this episode  . |

Lauren and Lucy teaching Joey a lesson seems most realistic. As for Whitney, what's with the ridiculous personality transplant. The girl who is easily manipulated can come up with this plan???

I thought Joey gets cocky again and comes onto Lauren, so she leaves him handcuffed? Or does that happen after Lauren uncuffs him? My bad, I don't think I read the article properly

Then she slaps him. I think he gets a slap and handcuff so he does get some comeuppance just know it wont last and he'll be cocky again

Do you not find cockiness slightly attractive? I didn't realise I was on my own thinking that... :/

Yeah, it never lasts with these types of one-dimensional bad boy characters. But I think the Car Crash might effect Joey and give him a wake up call in regards to his arrogant behaviour toward the girls. At least that's what David Witts seems to be saying. |

^ I agree, somewhere along the line something has to happen
Him being cocky right now makes sense, until he finally realises he has real feelings for a girl, the first time in his life, lets hope his cockiness fades away when that happens and hopefully the storyline becomes more on another level etc |

A crap version of that and many others (including from other soaps). The whole "handcuff the cheating boyfriend to a pole" revenge is old. Not to mention, the whole "seduce the cheating boyfriend and throw them out with no clothes on" revenge.

I haven't read the spoilers for this storyline yet, but is that all the revenge is? Handcuffing Joey to a pole and throwing him out without his clothes:yawn:? I always thought these three girls:Lucy, Lauren and Whitney were chavs.
. A very pitiful revenge indeed. In regards to my previous post, I was just listing the familiar feminist revenge tropes that writers like to use on soaps. They always tend to have the cheating boyfriend get handcuffed to a pole or get thrown out with no clothes on or a combination of both. Sorry if I confused you. ![]() BIB: Indeed. Chavs of the highest order, especially Whitless .

But she would have played some part in many of the poor decisions over recent years. An example being she would have agreed to the Tyler Whitney Fatboy love triangle, who shagged Kat story,Kim Foxs one day hiv scare etc
I see no reason for confidence. First they blamed the lull on the summer weather, then it was "they are just saving all the good stuff until sharon returns." Both periods have come and gone and nothing has changed.Sharon's arrival was listless. As was heather's murder reveal, kat shagger story is vulgar and the new brannings arent panning out at all. These flops are all on her watch.. Maybe the new excuse is it will all turnaround during christmas but surely we should see some glimpses of brilliance now.Other than making the show more female driven again there is really no difference between her style and kirkwood's . |

Lorraine Newman's storylines haven't started yet.
The episodes we are seeing now are still Bryan Kirkwood's work. |
