I do understand her motivations but even before all the bad Brendan stuff in Later she was always keen to push them together She's a funny one, is Cheryl. One minute she's telling Ste to stay clear of him and be with Doug, the next she's encouraging Brendan with him

I wonder how neutral viewers will take the Stug wedding......their already sort of unpopular , also am the only one worried Ste will go running to Doug to get married but then it won't be shown again that's not what he really wants and so there's actually a Stug gushy wedding. I want it clear it's not what he wants , it's a mistake.

I'd forgotten about that episode! It really was weirdly appalling, wasn't it?! They'd obviously tried so hard (in a GCSE media studies sort of way) to make it super-clever and cool, but it was just stinky crap.

I have just been thinking how that he is so desperate to keep Ste and Brendan apart that he is going to marry a man that he knows doesn't love him properly and is in love with someone else.

I mean how could you truly be happy in a marriage when you know that your husband/wife only married you because they felt guilty about loving another.
