Considering storylines that are happening/building up at the moment (not a great selection to choose from I know!)

Lola and the annoying social worker ending with Lola decking her for being a b*itch !

Michael and Derek would have been a good one, what with all the history between them, but I can't see that happening if Derek's leaving.

It'll end up being something completely disappointing, like Sharon with Joey or something dull like that.

I'd like to see one between Janine and Michael when she returns.

I think the two most likely candidates are Sharon and Phil. Maybe Max and Tanya, as its a Branning centric Xmas.

if sharon and phil get one id be so annoyed. shirl and phil would be far more interesting but if they do have one it has to be a phil/shirl/sharon 3 hander rather than a two hander

Nico and Dot - She's worked for his Uncle for years, maybe he dies and Nico and Dot share memories over a drink or two.,

Desperately wanted to see a Jean and Michael two hander and that could still happen if Michael is treading water with Scarlet whilst the masoods get featured, perhaps after the wedding and Chryed exit Michael can pick up again not coping with Scarlet and we can get some proper closure to Jean/Michael, Jean being the mum Michael needs etc

Failing that I'd love to see Janine in one, with Michael or Jean, after she returns.

I guess you can tell who I think are the only interesting characters around at the mo.

Sharon/Shirley could be great in the future, if Shirley finds out about Phils involvement with Dennis' death....

Maybe a three hander with Cora/Tanya/Ava or Cora/Tanya or Cora/Ava or Tanya/Ava?

Poppy and Derek, leading to Derek's demise at the hands of her latex gloves.

I can imagine them playing Chess, and every so often Tracey saying "Your move"

cora & Tania sounds promising .

Cora and Tanya may be good. I'd definately love Michael and Jean as someone else suggested.

Phil and Sharon when she learns of his part in Dennis' death. Or Ian and Sharon reminiscing about the past.

Any of the above combinations would make excellent drama.

That would be good.

If there's a story to be told, Michael and Derek would be great to see.
