The Walking Dead S3 (US Pace)
Another great start to the series. Just what you want from a zombie series, lots of killings and less talk.
It's a shame they've almost killed off one of the best characters (he lost a leg at the moment). The sword girl is a great addition, the FX are very good. |

Really great episode. Very ending was a surprise, but everyone knew about the prison, so it was only a matter of time before someone turned up. And I dont get why they, well Rick brought Herhsel. Surely, your wifes pregnant, you should keep the one with most medical knowledge safe, and keep them behind.
Far too little of Andrea and Michonne though. Although to be honest, I would just watch a show with only them too. Yeah good show. Started off to hopefully a great series, with some more great action!!! |

So much stronger than the previous season. From the character interactions you can really see that Rick's become very much a dictator over the winter and the others seemed a little wary of him. Gore level was upped too, even i was a little nauseated.

I loved the pre-credits sequence. Not a word spoken, but we still learned that it was a while since the end of last season, that Carl is now trusted with a gun, they they are all able to put down walkers without a second though and that they are desperate.

It's a great start to what I think will be the best season so far. It's interesting noting the differences and similarities with the comic books and the television adaptation. It was almost inevitable that someone else would lose another limb though, I just thought it would be someone *ahem* different but maybe that is to come.
I liked the way Lori addressed the worries about her pregnancy. It would be weird if she wasn't just a little bit scared of a zombie baby popping out of her belly at this point! Excellent surprise at the end and it just makes me believe things are only going to get better (or worse) from this point forward for the new inmates. I agree though, more Michonne and Andrea would be great. |

A cracking start to the series! I am already looking forward to the next episode. Hard to imagine how the general storyline is going to unfold.

Great start - but silly taking Hershal with them!
Looks like it'll be a great season. |

I enjoyed it too. Special effects were really good, I am glad to see serious money is being spent on the series.

Absolute belter of an episode, plenty of splatter action, awsome effects as ever, and the thought of Loris baby dying inside her and re-animating doesn't bear thinking about
![]() You know who getting chomped was a bit of a shock this early, i'll be amazed if he survives but i guess we'll find out soon enough, top marks to AMC for allowing such graphic scenes, this is one series that should never be watered down, roll on next week

![]() Considering how often her sloppy parenting has almost got that brat Carl killed it'd be poetic justice if another of her children took her out from the inside. |

Loved the first episode!
Michonne is now officially my favourite character. No shock there though! Need more scenes with her in! Great action and character development in this episode. The ending had me gritting my teeth! That was nasty! Poor Hershel. |

The Walking Dead - Series 3
I couldn't see a thread so I'll start this and what a great start to Season 3, watched it today and finally at the juicy part of the story from the comic books, something to get your teeth into (as it were) !

I would have loved a tip of the hat throw away line to the Zombie genre when Rick and Daryl discovered the Prison for one of them just to say "well it ain't no shopping mall, but it'll do."

You're better off reporting it to get it closed or merged. The mods are reactive, not proactive.
