Wow really? Time really has passed by quickly. I guess with them airing the episode of her character's death just a few months ago it feels like a lot less time.

it was shameful the way phil collinson dealt with her final storyline, having St Ella in every scene when she hadn't even worked with her. If Annie Walker had left her the pub to Betty when she didn't own it then it kind of makes it out like she was not of sound mind.

They should have brought back Bet Lynch and Maggie Clegg and anyone else that wanted to say their goodbyes (i'm sure there were plenty of ex-street stars at her real funeral who'd put their hand up). I think she would have cringed if she knew what they had done. I'm hoping one day they will re-write history and have one of the characters say that it was a big mistake and Annie Walkers letter was a joke, and they update Betty's portrait in the Rovers to say "Longest Serving Barmaid" instead of "Landlady"
