Do you reckon he is the one who dies then?

TBH it wouldnt suprise me if that was the general feeling towards the live episode at Emmerdale! Its almost clear thats this is an ITV decision to go live not Emmerdales!

It has caused a lot of extra work for them, building the inside of the Woolpack for one!

I agree with Nick, it all seems a bit pointless. I shall be watching on Tuesday for the greenery and then on Wednesday for the bleakness. I really don't know what they hope to gain, as I don't know anyone that is going to tune in as it is live

honestly i'm starting to lean towards it being him now...at first i made a thread about it maybe being Cain because that genuinely would have been a SHOCK but now with all the build up to it being Carl or Cameron an unexpected death would probably be Jimmy.

Aw. I know what he means, but I'm not going to lie - I'm incredibly excited

Whaa? Do you people really think Jimmy will die? But has he "had it coming?" Honestly I don't think it's him. It'll be Carl

Remember

Spoiler
Some posted an interview on here with Nicola's actress, and she was saying she'll miss working with the person who dies. Okay, so that would make sense if it was Jimmy, but also Carl too. Idk.

I'm not just saying this, but over the past week, with what we've seen on screen, I've been thinking that it could be Jimmy that dies. Also, because they are 'lovable' too and I think you could say Jimmy is.

hook line and sinker me thinks....your meant to think its jimmy....so its probably Karl or someone completly different
hopefully amys mum or pollards wife ,,,,both are annoying

half the cast have given interviews about the live episode dont mean they are getting killed off .

to be honest i agree with him. why do soaps always have to follow suit and copy the other soaps and all the extra work involved, and if an actor messes a line by god they soon shoot them down on the forums branding them crap. All actors have lots of outtakes, the pressures on big time, but no i dont think hes sounding particular bitter just sensible and knows what hes talking about.

he's probably just not got as many lines as he hoped for.

I am becoming convinced that Jimmy will be the character that dies now. I can see Carl and Cameron fighting and Jimmy being caught in the crossfire, or Carl and Jimmy get into a fight resulting in Carl accidentally killing his brother - Carl does have form

I love it when actors do this, don't follow the 'company line' and just say what they think Good for him, I bet quite a few of the people who work on ED feel the same!

I'm betting he didn't realise he was talking to a reporter.

If he really said that he should think twice about biting the hand that feeds him...

It sounds more like a journalist has twisted his words

I dont think he is the one to die. I dont know how to put in a spoiler and dont know who it is, so I dont mind saying in the open who I think it will be. To me it will be either Rhona is supposed to be leaving anyway and as a result Marlon will get the baby as its real dad and not Paddy who is Rhona's current other half. If it is not RHona then i think it will be Ashley. Bernice is coming back, we know that but i dont know for how long. She would be back to look after her daughter. Again if Ashley was to died, even though Laurel is Ashley's current wife, even though they are seperated, she would be unlikely to get to look after her on a full time basis.

Finally someone from ED speaking the truth!
You tell 'em Nick!
Pity he didn't spill the beans on Mr Blackburn while he was at it.

I don't buy the DS attempt to cover this up as words taken out of context or bad journalism - Mr Miles has already proved himself to be rather outspoken on more than one occasion on here - this latest, more public outburst fits what we've already heard from the horse's mouth.

By the time it airs on Wednesday at 7pm, it will be pretty dark, you shouldn't really notice a massive change in the background. And if people are commenting on the background and not the story then something's gone very wrong!

Well if Nick Miles was not trying to lead us astray in the article, it sounds like it could be Carl that dies.He says he is left shell shocked after the fight and tries to stay away from everyone, which is what you would do if you had accidently murdered someone.

Nick Miles has apparently said on twitter that his words were taken out of context....

Im convinced its Carl who will die, i think his charactor has just come to a natural end, he is right to speak out though, i really feel the same as others that the live episode is just been done for the sake of it, the storyline sbuilding up to the live episode arent all that great. I am looking forward to the live episode to see how it goes though and i hope it goes well for them because in general i dont think soap actors get half enough credit for their work so the live episodes are a great opportunity for them to show to people how good they are and i mean that for all the soaps.
