Is it time Tamwar Masood was axed from EastEnders?
I feel it is.I feel that they simply dont know what to do with him since Afia left and there certainly is no sign of a plan on the horizon.
Being fully frank I dont think the actor is trying either. Its really as if hes just coasting along with minimal effort as if hes "disenaged" from the role.Politely put as if hes bored too. A scene that contains Himesh to my feeling is dragged down by his presence. He doesnt add to his scenes he subtracts. Im totally done and finished with Tamwar. Are you? Should producers axe the character? |

If Himesh heart is no longer in playing this role at a better standard then he should seek out new acting roles.Thats what actors are supposed to do and feel. |

They really need to get rid if this dead wood character. There is nowhere to go with this character and he should've left with Afia, I honestly forget he is in the programme half the time he is so under used anyway. When he is in a scene he is robotic and spaced out like he is on something lol

I'm wondering if this is the point? They seem to be giving him depression.

I think he'll be gone by at least May/June of next year. With Syed and Christian leaving there really won't be much to stay around for unless he is incorporated into a S/L with AJ or they recast his sister. I think after the fall out with the Masoods this time around (Syed, money..) Zainab and Mass will take a back seat in the show for a little while.

I'd be happy to see the back of the whole Masood family if truth be told. They used to be one of my favourite families, but I find them all irritating now especially with them all fawning over Christian so soon after they hated his guts. Tamwar and Afia were the best out of the lot and they've been ruined.

I dont doubt Himesh Patel is lovely but I find Tamwars scenes not just to be a chore to watch but painfully unenjoyable.

Tam just needs more integration
Like syed, he's often left on the back burner, and doesn't have any friends They need to put him back with fatboy and Lauren etc, so he has more to do He's a brilliant character |

I have been calling for his axing for quite some time . Dull as ditch water Tam is the most uninteresting character on the show . Totally devoid of any charisma , he brings down any scene he appears in .
Get rid of this deadwood |

Yes it's time for him to be axed in my opinion. Since Afia has left, he's just been so miserable, he's never got a smile on him at all. Get rid.

After Masood left Christian after he took a beating, Zainab burning Syed's clothes etc etc etc! Todays episode was spot on! |

I always thought it would have been better if the sister was brought back really.
While Tam has always been moody and dry, I seem to remember him lightening up a bit when his sister was around. Not to mention it would make them a full family again. |

He can stay as long as they don't give him any big storylines as he is harmless enough.

He has been depressed since the fire, he's certainly changed. I'd like him to stay though.

Perhaps if the immediate aftermath to his serious burns in the Bed and Breakfast explosion was explored in more depth Tamwar would have enaged and registered with more viewers. The aftermath to that particular storyline was quite appaling to be 100% frank. It would have been an ideal opportunity for viewers to get behind the character but they never went anywhere with it.

I still like Tam, but I think he has been pushed to the side since the fire and his split with Afia. In fact they seem to have forgotten about all he went through with the fire and his scars. They should have Tam deciding he needs to inject some fun back into his life. He had quite a good friendship with Fatboy they could use to make him a lighter character again. Remember years ago when he did that website doing impressions of Dot and everyone? That was funny.
