Will This Be Gary, Tulisa's and Potentially Louis' Last Series?
With Take That and N-Dubz reforming will that sign that Gary and Tulisa will focus on touring and making new material with their bands?
Has Louis lost his Irish charm and sparkled his way out of the show? Will next year's X Factor judging lineup consist of will.i.am, Simon, Cheryl and Nicole/Mel B? The X Factor reaches it's tenth series next year, could this see an all star judging lineup of the best judges throughout the series'? Could this see the return of Sharon and Dannii? I know we still have the rest of this series to go, but ya know... |

It could be any of their last series.. viewers are down again so Simon will probably drastically shake it up. Wouldn't be surprised if Mel B was moved from XF Australia to here - if she was willing.. also I expect negotiations with Dannii and Cheryl again - maybe even Sharon as she's been saying nice things in the press about Simon recently and she did judges houses which could be a sign theres been talking.
I expect Gary will quit, Tulisa seems miserable and if she keeps that up she may be pushed. Nicole seems to be doing well, she might stay depending on how negotiations with other people go. Can't see Louis leaving. |

I think they will all be gone apart from Louis.
The 10th series will be dragging back whoever is needed from when people actually liked the show. And the overarching story of this year is the end of Barlow, thankfully. |

I'm certain that Louis & Nicole will be there. Louis doesn't have anything else to do, and Nicole is as big an international star as the show will attract whilst she seems pretty desperate to cling on.
I'd put a lot of money on Simon returning because X Factor USA is tanking and I think Gary is gearing up for his exit due to what he has been saying in the press. Gary has only ever been a seat warmer in my opinion. There is also a remote possibility that Cheryl could be back in favour of Tulisa, otherwise I'd fully expect Tulisa back too. On Chatty Man, Cheryl seemed to suggest she'd return for £2m. X Factor would be a good platform for the N Dubz comeback. I really can't see them bringing in any new faces, I imagine they'll want to keep the panel as stable as possible and any changes will just be with familiar faces. |

I think they would pay her £2m, Simon would even do it out of his own pocket if necessary.

Nicole has been a lot better, I'm just not sure how much of it is to do with the others being so Godawful.

To be fair to Nicole she seemed pretty good when she guest judged (it could have been the editing) but I've enjoyed watching her on the live shows. If Tulisa is given the elbow, her & Louis would make a great double act.
Tulisa I find unbearable, like someone putting up shelves on a Sunday morning when you are trying to get some sleep. |

I think we could see a major reworking of the series next year. To that end I'd get rid of Louis as well. It'd be nice to find a way for him to remain involved in some capacity (kind of like how Idol were playing to keep Randy around somehow even if they fired him from the panel). But really, I think his time is up. Nicole irritated me in week one but I was impressed this week. She might survive.
The next question is forward - Mel B, will.i.am, others... or back - Cheryl, Sharon, Dannii... Or they could have one current judge (Nicole), one new judge (will.i.am) and one old judge (Cheryl). I don't see Simon coming back next year. But he and will.i.am seem to be on good terms again which in turn opens the door not just for Will to join the panel but also for Cheryl. The Australian version has been hugely successful the past couple of years with Mel B on board and she got some good feedback in her guest role. Australia's Got Talent tanked this year and is under threat of cancellation so Dannii might be looking for work. Cowell could either bring her back to the UK show or move her to Mel B's vacated seat on X Factor Australia (or do neither). Sharon has worked continuously for Simon since 2004 but is now leaving America's Got Talent and they might want to bring her back. Whatever they do I think there needs to be a massive overhaul. I'd like 3 judges. They desperately need a new auditions format. Change up the live shows and results a bit. Really look at pacing and how to make it all move quicker (I think 3 judges would help there). Stop reusing obvious storylines (like Rylan). There's no point changing judges and doing the same old thing. They need fresh ideas. |

I think Tulisa and Louis will be back next year but that will be their last series. I think it will be Gary's last year especially as he hasn't won yet and isn't happy with the show really...

I might be in the minority but I do love this years judges and I hope they don't go, even though Borelow irritates me so much Tulisa needs to stop looking miserable and unhappy all the time though

Louis obviously serves the purpose of riling up the audience and getting them talking, but there's only so long we can tolerate the clown. I'd love to see him replaced.
Nicole really surprised me- she's got a good technical ear and a way with words, so she's one of the more constructive judges. I'd like to see her stay. Tulisa is a mixed bag, I don't find her all that genuine and I think her criticism ranges from helpful to irrelevant week by week. And Gary. I love that he's willing to be negative (ignoring the howling, baying crowd behind him), and I think his criticism is usually honest (unless about his own acts). Par for the course for an X-Factor judge. I could take or leave him, really. Get shut of Louis, Gary and Tulisa, bring in some new talent. Preferably some more credible music business professionals rather than more pop stars |

Louis will never leave! I hope Nicole stays, I don't care if Gary and Tulisa leave as long as they don't get Cheryl back, Dannii on the other hand would be brilliant!

Danii is nice, but it's difficult to see what else she brings to the party - other than being drop-dead gorgeous of course. |

I really don't get why people say Cheryl will replace Tulisa when Tulisa was Dannii's replacement. No idea why thats hard for people to understand. I think Gary will be gone and Nicole too, she's going to become annoying very fast. I want Tulisa to stay but only if she livens up again. Louis is Louis and if he isn't there, it's not X Factor. Next year on the panel I want Simon - Mel B - Tulisa - Louis.

I don't know why they changed the live audition format. It was so much better when it was just the act, walking into that room, you could hear a pin drop and they had to perform in front of the judges.
It started to go downhill for me when they changed that, as well as the judges being a pile of crap and arguing with each other to up the ratings. |

Cheryl Cole is annoying beyond belief and I would probably give up XF if she returned - she isn't helped by that dreadful accent.
Danii is nice, but it's difficult to see what else she brings to the party - other than being drop-dead gorgeous of course. I thought Dannii was always the most honest. |

She is the most irritating person to ever be involved with the X Factor, I don't like her attitude either she comes across as rude and nasty.

Louis will defo be there i think! it's the 10th year which is a biggie year? would they get rid of the longest serving judge? i also think that having louis there is safe for simon/producers because they know what he's like and what he brings to the show.

I don't think Louis is going anywhere. Gary will stay, unless Simon will return. Then if Nicole does great this year I can see her staying and then with the other female... Dannii said X Factor is in the past, she's moved on, Cheryl has also continuously said she won't return. Sharon does want to come back, she left AGT and she would be free to do X Factor. I also read an article (DailyStar. Not very trustworthy, but...):
"Last night a source close to Cowell said: “Simon is very fond of Sharon and won’t rule out working with her again.” So who knows. |

Looks like Louis IS the show to be honest. He has been there for 9 series.

I think Tulisa and Louis will stay, and Nicole if they'll have her. I would like to see Simon back to replace Gary and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.
