It's radically different to everything else pop atm, including Pink's album.

It's okay...it just feels like something is missing. Definitely my least favourite of the songs released from Red so far. Hopefully it'll be a grower.

![]() , I like taylor and country, Dixies Chicks being my favourite but I would not contstantly rave on and on about it not being country if the dixies decided to do an album for the masses.Taylor does not perform just for you, she does it for herself Just to rub salt in the wounds, I also like Adele. I thought it was only NUFC and them makems who moaned, by god I wish we had you for the Derby match on Sunday, your moaning would empty the Stadium of Shi*e ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I quite like the song |

Nice to see you have managed to actually write something on what the thread is about and not just make your post totally about me
What is it with taylor threads and adele stans, they just have to camp out and do what they can to take the thread off topic. By the way I only like some Adele's songs, so not a stan |

Oh thats so funny, coming from a Taylor stan
Anyway not feeding you anymore as it will result in adele stans taking yet another taylor swift thread off topic. I wish adele had not retired as you guys would have something else to do.

I'm that much of a stan that I have a total of 6 post that mention Adele, you have much much more.
Dont talk about taking over threads, pot kettle black comes to mind with that one. |

Its certainly a lot better then the 2 cack pop co-write singles but still pretty average for someone as talented as taylor. The more tracks we here the less there are to come and that means the odds are going down rapidly on me getting anything meorable from this album.
Red is a great song though, absolutely love it. I hope there's more songs like that on the full album. I believe it was fully written by Taylor and it really shows. I see she's announced a world tour for 2013, will you be going GL or will it depend on the rest of the album? |

I really like this, easily the best song lyrically we have heard so far IMO. I'm a big U2 fan so this is right up my street. Very formulaic of a U2 song.
Overall I think this album is shaping up well, I'm not appalled as some of the vocal minority are about her tinkering her style and trying a new direction. At her age and with her eclectic music tastes I would be more concerned if she wasn't doing that. As far as I'm concerned the itunes countdown singles to Speak Now didn't showcase the best of that album. If you judged Speak Now on the itunes singles you wouldn't have heard Long Live, Last Kiss, Enchanted, Dear John etc... I suspect like that the best is yet to come. |

I feel like it should have a bigger chorus...it has the potential to be a Long Live type but just misses it. I just find it more forgetful than any of the other songs.

I see she's announced a world tour for 2013, will you be going GL or will it depend on the rest of the album? Even if the album is not to my liking I will still be going to all her UK gigs, her live shows are fantastic. I wont stop being a fan of an artist just because they happen to lose their way a bit

It's an ok song. It pretty much screams "album filler" to me though. Not sure it's a great song to promote the new album. And her voice sounds really artificial during the chorus. Taylor isn't the best singer around and it feels like it's being drowned in the production.

I like that she's trying new things. She can't keep using the voice of a 15 year old. It's creepy and utterly ridiculous. This song sounds very familiar in a Temper Trap Sweet Disposition kind of way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxKjOOR9sPU So not breaking any new ground here but it will expand her pop following. And the over production helps her voice, imo. Saw that she played at a college near me yesterday. That is what she needs to do. Not stadiums full of tweens and their moms. She said it was the first and last time. Very shortsighted of her. But it's all about the dollar, as we've already determined. |

She was born to be a rock star on stage, just like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kDJ2e4qBuQ Or the full set here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR2Dk...eature=related And if you were a taylor fan you would know she has done many small and intimate showws, only last year she played a small gig on the allure of the seas cruise liner to a select audience. And that was awesome Another nce intimate one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkgUy...eature=related |

Wow... I have loved Taylor since Picture to Burn, but I think this has got to be my all time favourite Taylor song. I just thought it was amazing as soon as I heard it!

I hope Taylor realises the pain she is putting GL through with all these pop songs. It's cruel, I tell thee. But immensely funny all the same.
Anyway, I think this song is OK in a U2-by-numbers sort of way. |

Anyway, I think this song is OK in a U2-by-numbers sort of way. She is putting a big proportion of the taylor nation through it. Shame really but hey ho, she can drop all the crap co-writers and plastic producers and just go back to what she does best on her next album. Even the best artists that have ever walked the earth have a not so good album. |
