Okay, I give up, on both rwebster's and Sherlock's! What is it? (Unless you guys want to keep at it, of course.)

Okay, I've got it! And it's so obvious now. It's:
Spoiler
I guess it goes to show I'm a lot better at making up these than doing them! Any luck with rwebster's yet? |

I still need help with rwebster's! And I've come up with an interesting one myself, let's see how people do with this:
Series 1: James Max. Raj Dhonota. Sebastian Schrimpff. Series 2: Paul Tulip. Sharon McAllister. Mani Sandher. Series 3: Jadine Johnson. Series 4: Lee McQueen. Claire Young. Alex Wotherspoon. Michael Sophocles. Series 5: Yasmina Siadatan. Kate Walsh. Mona Lewis. Philip Taylor. Noorul Choudhury. Junior Apprentice Series 1: Kirsty Cleaver. Hannah Cherry. Series 6: Stella English. Chris Bates. Joanna Riley. Stuart Baggs. Liz Locke. Melissa Cohen. Series 7: Helen Milligan. Natasha Scribbins. Glenn Ward. Young Apprentice Series 2: Zara Brownless. James McCullagh. Series 8: Ricky Martin. Nick Holzherr. Jade Nash. Duane Bryan. Young Apprentice Series 3 (to date): Navdeep Bual. David Odhiambo. |

Aha! I like yours, Sherlock. Good work George!
I'll have an in-depth look at your new one in a sec, in the meantime, if anyone wants a hint on mine...
Spoiler
Also, the following people now belong on the list: Alice Smith David Odhiambo Navdeep Bual ETA: Off the top of my head, George, I'm pretty sure yours all won as project managers at least once. Not much, and I'd need to double check, but it's something to go on. ETA-2: Did they all win the last time they PMed? |

Arg! Yes, you're right, of course you are. And Edna. Alright, maybe they left the competition within two weeks of a winning PMship? But Kate Walsh didn't. Right. Back to the drawing board. EDIT: Quote:
The first point is relevant. The second point isn't.

Spoiler
Also, the following people now belong on the list: Alice Smith David Odhiambo Navdeep Bual I'm going to quote your one, just so I don't have to keep going backwards and forwards all the time! Quote:
S1 EDIT:Rachel Groves Sebastian Schrimpff Raj Dhonota Miriam Staley S2 Alexa Tilley Mani Sandher Samuel Judah Sharon McAllister S3 Andy Jackson Dr. Sophie Kain (Quantum Physicist) Natalie Wood Paul Callaghan Adam Hosker Naomi Lay S4 Jenny Celerier Jennifer Maguire Sara Dhada S5 Paula Jones Philip Taylor Mona Lewis Howard Ebison S6 Shibby Robati Melissa Cohen Alex Epstein Sandeesh Samra S7 Felicity Jackson Ellie Reed Glenn Ward Zoe Beresford Melody Hossaini S8 Duane Bryan Katie Wright Laura Hogg Stephen Brady JA (Adam Eliaz) Hannah Cherry YA Hannah Richards Hayley Forrester Harry Hitchens Harry Maxwell Haya Al Dlame Hmm... If its telling that Andy is the only one to be fired in the first few weeks, then its probably because that year was the only one to have mixed teams at the start. So its something to do with being fired once mixed teams have begun. I'm still missing something though. Series 4 is catching my eye as only three people fired are on that list and they are all women. Am I on the right track, rwebster?

I think I have it! (Although I haven't checked all of them, just the first couple of series.) Is it:
Spoiler
Sorry, TXF0429, it was your comment that led me to that, so that should really have been your triumph, not mine. But...

I've got quite a hard one:
Series 1 Adenike Ogundoyin Adele Lock Raj Dhonota Series 2 Mani Sandher Samuel Judah Sharon McAllister Tuan Le Series 3 Natalie Wood Adam Hosker Naomi Lay Series 4 Nicholas de Lacy-Brown Lindi Mngaza Jenny Celerier Jennifer Maguire Michael Sophocles Series 5 Rocky Andrews Kimberly Davis Mona Lewis Howard Ebison Series 6 Joy Stefanicki Melissa Cohen Christopher Farrell Series 7 Gavin Winstanley Edna Agbahra Glenn Ward Leon Doyle Zoe Beresford Natasha Scribbins Series 8 Bilyana Apostolova Jane McEvoy Duane Bryan Azhar Siddique Laura Hogg Jenna Whittingham Gabrielle Omar Stephen Brady Adam Corbally Junior Apprentice Rhys Rosser Hannah Cherry Emma Walker YA Series 2 Lewis Roman Gbemi Okunlola Harry Hitchens Harry Maxwell Lizzie Magee Haya Al-Dlame YA Series 3* Max Grodecki Sean Spooner David Odhiambo Navdeep Bual *Yet to be confirmed Highlighted ones follow the rule more than non-highlighted ones. I wouldn't look at Young Apprentice Series 3 yet as it could be wrong. Good Luck! |

Its so obvious now! The only thing is, rwebster, that Haya, Harry M and Harry H were all fired on their original teams. It seems as though you got the teams mixed up for that week. |

Yes! That's it, spot on, great work you two!! Fired under the wrong name. As for Haya, Harry M, Harry H - d'oh! Tricky one to compile. Sorry if that threw anyone off the scent, I thought I'd double checked all of them, but I guess one must've slipped past the net. That would've been the last series I checked, and I'd spent a long time going "Right, so Ignite's originally the girls' team, so that means... wait, no..." Surprised my brain didn't frazzle sooner! Gimme a bit, I'll catch up on the latest. Quote:

Renaissance was very unsuccessful, and that was the boys team, so - yes! Only a couple of Alpha firings, happened to always be women. Totally on the right track.

Right, based on this, here's my latest guess. Just a guess, not checked against any tables, but between "something else that helped you get it quickly," and with Duane and Helen being among the candidates...

Not sure on yours, yet! Current line of thought - trying to think how some candidates could've especially followed the rule. Young Apprentice 3 is probably the clue, despite its unreliability, because it hints that it might be something we can't know for sure until a series is over.
Also, there are no winners, no interviewees, but all four members of the YA2 boardroom carnage hour followed the rule. In multiple firings, it looks like either all the fired candidates or none of the fired candidates fit the rule. Both Jennies in the fourth series, Gabrielle and Stephen in the eighth, but no sign of Ifti or Rory, Vincent or Ellie. These are the things I have noticed. EDIT: Ooh! I think I've got it.

Well done, TXF0429! And well done on mine as well... you were right, by the way.
Here's an easier one. Someone will get this quickly, I'm sure. What do the following episodes all have in common? Series 1, Episode 1. Series 3, Episode 10. Series 6, Episode 8. Series 8, Episode 9. |

The ultimate final two went head to head as PMs. I had worked this out in the past though, so that's how I knew it!

If I'm right, I didn't think it was that hard. After all, I've found some of the others a lot harder... maybe that's just me. |

Yeah, I'm going to stop saying that, considering people get it so quickly. I just thought it would be hard when I was writing it.
You're right of course. What's the significance of the order?Okay, here's a new one. I think this is quite a hard one, although as we have just seen, you can never be quite sure: Series 1: Rachel Groves. Matthew Palmer. Series 2: Samuel Judah. Mani Sandher. Alexa Tilley. Karen Bremner. Nargis Ara. Series 3: Natalie Wood. Sophie Kain. Gerri Blackwood. Rory Laing. Ifti Chaudhri. Series 4: Simon Smith. Ian Stringer. Shazia Wahab. Series 5: Paula Jones. Majid Nagra. Rocky Andrews. Junior Apprentice Series 1: Arjun Rajyagor. Hannah Cherry. Rhys Rosser. Adam Eliaz. Hibah Ansary. Series 6: Alex Epstein. Shibby Robati. Joy Stefanicki. Series 7: Glenn Ward. Edna Agbarha. Ellie Reed. Felicity Jackson. Young Apprentice Series 2: Harry Hitchens. Lizzie Magee. Hannah Richards. Series 8: Katie Wright. Duane Bryan. Jane McEvoy. Michael Copp. Young Apprentice Series 3 (to date): David Odhiambo. Alice Smith. Amy Corrigan. |

Well, it's the order that it occurred in the series. Sorry, I thought that was obvious, that's why I didn't say.

Sorry George. What happened was that I should have written them in the order they got fired to make it less obvious. Without the order, I'm convinced that it would have been harder than it was. When I was writing it, it did seem as though it wouldn't be obvious, but thinking about it, it was obvious with the order.
Sorry! ![]() |
