Panasonic TX-L24C3B TV - Sudden loss of signal

Hi DS people,

I purchased a TX-L24C3B at the beginning of the year and all was fine (well, not quite....I had to wait for the digital signal to be strengthened to receive more channels). However, last week, I lost all signal. Other televisions in the house are fine so I don't feel that it's a problem with the main aerial. I've tried retuning with a powered portable aerial too but it's still the same. I've restored it to shipping status - still fruitless.

It's connected via a coaxial cable with a standard male jack. At the moment though, it's just an expensive paperweight.

All help is gratefully received.

I have the same TV and just lately on channels like Dave and PickTV (not sure what other channels are on that multiplex) i keep getting Bad Signal (in red) at the bottom of the EPG bar.

I, too, have lost my signal - at least, as far as my Panasonic DVD recorder goes. All my other TV equipment (Samsung, LG, Humax) works just fine but all my channel data on the Panasonic is lost.

Have rescanned and it finds no channels. Have restored factory settings and then rescanned again and no joy. Have used different aerial connection and still no joy.

Not sure exactly when it happened but it was working in September and when I first used it in mid/late October it wasn't working.

Had just decided the equipment had died on me when I found this thread. Although it doesn't solve it, it does make me wonder if it's a Panasonic problem...?

So it still ought to be in guarantee: dig out the paperwork, contact the sales team at the vendor.
