ITV should never showed this on Emmerdale's anniversary day in the first place, can they grab a few people and have the live special now instead?

I dont know why we bother having extra channels and recording capabilities when its never used. Stick the football on ITV2, its hardly going to lose viewers, and football fans are happy to watch it anywhere, as long as its on.

corrie was never on tomorrow anyway lol, next episode of corrie is friday, guessing if they do postpone the game tonight until tomorrow they will do build up for footie on itv 2 and then arrange match kick off for 8pm so it can go straight on after emmerdale on itv1 but anyway it might still be played tonight, 8:45 announcement?

Corrie is back on Wednesdays but it wasn't being shown tomorrow because of the hour long Emmerdale.

But not tomorrow - the hour long live Emmerdale episode means that for this week only, the next scheduled Corrie is Friday at 7:30

Television companies have influence of match scheduling these days so I do wonder if ITV would press for a 8:15 or 8:30 kick-off tomorrow (if the match is played then of course) so that it doesn't clash with Emmerdale.

Of course, they could just get the cast of Emmerdale to act faster

I don't see the point of canceling programmes just to show England getting thrashed.

Hopefully the football will be put on one of the other ITV channels.

Or the cast of Emmerdale could perform the episode on the pitch, while the players play around them.

The game is at 4pm so nothing to worry about where Emmerdale is cocerned.

If thats the case why don't you put emmerdale on itv2 "hardly going to lose viewers"

Football is more popular in this country and don't even try and argue because viewing figures prove it

Considering that it has been announced that the football is on at 4, and Emmerdale is on at 7 as planned, why is this still being argued about?

Exactly, however I was merely just giving a summarisation
