Yes, I'll watch on YouTube. I live in North America & lost track of the show a few years ago.

I watch it occasionally, but have been watching every ep for the past few weeks or so just to get the drift on what to expect tonight ;P

Me. I've heard that ED had been rubbish lately but I always like to jump on the bandwagon when something big happens, even if I'm not sure what's going on.

I used to watch it all the time but I gave up on it earlier this year. I was finding it very dull, not saying it IS dull, just it was for me abd I lost interest. I've enjoyed the last couple weeks though. |

I haven't watched any of the soaps in few years but tuned into this tonight as I had heard alot of hype about it.
I thought it was brilliantly acted, full of drama and at times I forgot that it was a live show! Well done Emmerdale! |

I am a semi regular viewer so knew who was who but watched because it was live. Technically very well done. But the shock death was a disappointment as it was telegraphed over the last few days so even I knew who it was going to be. But I kept hoping if it really was to be the shock they have been telling us that I had to be wrong, Aside from that it was a good episode and I will keep watching. So it worked I guess!

i hadn't watched for years but watched tonight for the hype. Thought it was really good, well acted & dramatic, and there are a quite few threads there which would make me want to tune in again ... but ... theres been so many bad threads on DS about how awful it is these days it kind of makes me think I will leave it as a one-off tbh

I don't normally watch Em, but I was on hol with my other half, last week and the week before and he loves it, so ended up seeing it!! Didn't watch when we got back, but felt the need to check out the live show! I think they did really well and even though I have no real interest or connection to the show, I did feel nervous for them!!!!

There is no doubt that loads of non Emmerdale fans will have been watching.
I expect to see great ratings for the live ep. |
