UK only - otherwise it's obviously just 1D!

5th November - JLS (4th album, last album sold ~400,000)
12th November - One Direction (2nd album, last album sold 720,000 UK)
19th November - Little Mix (debut album)
26th November - Olly Murs (3rd album, last album sold 850,000)

What's interesting about November is that you've got one act from 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. It'd be quite impressive if they could all go platinum although I think JLS are at risk of missing that this time around?

Trying not to get too high hopes for Little Mix but they couldn't have had two more perfect singles so I think they've got a real chance at doing well.

But I think given the stats we have, Olly is probably the favourite to rack up the most sales this year?

Rebecca Ferguson has sold 550,000 so far so her deluxe should push her over 600k by the end of the year. 2010 really was an incredible year.

Also got Tulisa in November and Susan Boyle.

I would definitely guess Olly to sell the most, Rebecca probably second.

Yeah. I think JLS could struggle a bit with their new album. I'm sure Olly Murs and One Direction will do great as well. Little Mix could sell quite well but probably miss out on the number one.

Tulisa will struggle probably and not sure about Susan Boyle, but it would be good to see them all do well.

I don't think JLS's new album is gonna do well at all. They've changed their direction a bit but that lead single is not strong enough. I hope there are better songs on the album.

1D I really don't know. I thought LWWY would've passed 150k opening sales easily but we all know what happened. They'll do well worldwide that's for sure.

Olly I think will do very well. His new album might even have the potential to outsell his previous one. His new single is imo the best he's released so far.

Little Mix have potential as well. With them being up against Rihanna I don't think they'll have the #1 album in the bag, but I expect them to clear the 100k mark at least in the first week.

I don't count Rebecca's as it's just a re-release.

I think One Direction will be the fastest selling but Olly will probably sell more over time. Olly usually has a couple of good lead singles from his albums so that definitely helps.

I think he actually sold more in his first week last year than 1D so I'd not be surprised to see him repeat that especially as the end of November is when Christmas sales really start kicking in. It was about 150,000 copies last year, IIRC and he doesn't seem to have faded away since then.

I think Little Mix. First album normally is most successful after XF

Was it deliberate to leave off Leona? Her album charts this Sunday but looks like Jake Bugg will keep her off the top spot.

Who's that Jake bugg guy came out of nowhere? Thought Leona would be a dead cert for #1

edit: Leona has 2 versions of her album so she will probably be #1 combined.

Oh I didn't realise that. I just figured 1D would sell quicker due to pre-orders. Their fans love a good pre-order

Olly will sell most... very few artists sell more of their 2nd album than first - especially with Reality TV Acts, but he did and I think this album will sell similarly - he hasn't declined in popularity at all

I would've said 1D - but seeing as LWWY debuted poorly (considering the mass amount of hype pilled in the UK) and is slipping down the charts quite quickly with no real stability, I dont think they're going to sell near 700k this time around.

JLS - their album sales have declined with each release and I dont think this will be any different - the fact its XMas will probably play into their favour (as will the rest), but I dont think they are going to get 400k out of this.

Little Mix - Hard to predict really as its the first album, I think they will do well (certainly the best out of the winners since Alex anyway).

Leona... currently being beaten By the brilliant Jake Bugg - hopefully he continues to do so, his album is fantastic and selling due to building up his fanbase over time and getting the hype right.

Probably a flop much like the single. I reckon lower sales as the reviews were mixed.

I don't think she's really in with a shot this year based on the sales figures at the moment, unfortunately. I'd expect all 4 of those mentioned releasing in November to do better.

Maybe not but it's positive for their sales, their fans might multi buy to try and get them the number 1 if they have serious competition.

In the context if low album sales these days it's humongous.
