If not, does that mean Jimmy will inherit Carl's share of the business and his house he didn't sell?

Didn't he take the papers from Charity and say he'll get his lawyer to check them?

I am not sure because the papers were on the desk the other day and Charity did say that they were the papers for the shares of the company but did he actually sign them?
As for his share of the company(If he was still a shareholder) and the house, it will pass to his children!! Not Jimmy!!

Yes he did, so we don't know if he got round to signing them!

His Kids will inherit as his next of kin if he HASNT got a will, if he has a will then he can give whoever he wants his property and shares. For all we know he has left everything to Ednas dog!!!

I'd quite like that if Tootsie suddenly became Charity's boss.

That'd teach her!

Partners in a company often have an arrangement whereby the share pass from one to another leaving out the family totally.

I cant remember anything about Carls children - are they young or would they be possible new King characters coming in to take over the business?

Exactly. If there is a will, then it's all down to 'whathewould'vewontid'.

He may well have left the house to his kids, but the business to his brother. If there's a will then it's anyone's guess at the moment.

I'm rubbish at guessing kids' ages, but the last time we saw them (a year or two ago?), I think they were around 10 and 8, so if they inherit anything, it will be in trust, (ie their mother, IF there was no will).

Unless Carl has made a will, there is no reason why Mr James would inherit
