QFT. I hope they are really badly worded. But you can see why they wanted to leave as apart from screentime being horrible the last 18 or so, the ridiculous going round in circles is beyond a joke. Its enough to make anyone want to leave. Its Marc and Johnny i feel for as acting out this crap must make you despair. How hard is it to make them have a bit of happiness before they leave? After everything they've been through its the least they deserve. Sometimes i just hate ee producers.

Yes. The only scenario I can live with is that Danny lies, it's Syed's word against Danny's and Christian can't believe Syed because he's already lied so much - hence the big consequences. Syed tries to convince Christian but Christian is too hurt to believe him, so Syed is on his own when Amira turns up and says she's taking Yasmn to outer Mongolia - Syed can come if he wants, but whatever. So, Syed has to make a decision, tells Christian and Christain has to decide what to do

I don't think Syed slept with Danny. It's just that he lies and hides the truth so much, that even Christian, (who has experienced this in spades, but always forgiven) just doesn't know what to think.

And from the spoilers, even if Syed 'tries to persuade' Christian he isn't sure he wants to be with him anyway, while he's doing that even.

So, doubt from Christian would seem well justified - in the sense that he doubts that Syed really wants to be with him, and this may be just 'fed' by what Danny says happened.

I'm in a pit of despair about all this.

I'd rather have had angst, will they, won't they up to the wedding, the lovely wedding, they sort out the mess together, Chryed contra mundi, and then leave.
This seems like nonsense to me.

Does anyone know the actual date that Chryed are leaving??

What else could he be lying about though? Christian knows about the money? Danny "lying" about sleeping with Syed could just be the mag's wording, cos Christian thinks it's a lie. Really hope I'm wrong, cos the wedding will be tainted forever, but I can't see what else it could be

I'm intereseted in the Masood/Syed angle, and I'm glad it's coming out.

I think it's far more complicated than just resentment mind. Zainab takes a massive share of the blame for the 'toxic' relationship she has with her son, the one that leads her to lie and hide to protect him, and to betray her husband's trust repeatedly.

The relationship HAS damaged the marriage. That may not have been his fault as a child.

But he's continued to do all this as an adult too.

Mas keeps trying to be decent, he fails a lot, but he loves Syed, but neither Zainab NOR Syed, have made that easy for him at all.

That makes sense.
I hope Syed decides he doesn't want to go anywhere without Christian though. I don't want him just tagging along.

Exactly. The wedding should have been the final consolidation of their relationship, a clean slate for them to start their lives together, strong and united against whatever else comes their way. All this flip-flopping, splitting up and getting back together has been done to death over the past three years, it's just pointless now. When they leave, I want to be able to imagine them staying together forever, not going round in the same old circles over and over again. So pissed off with EE
