Syed discovers Danny in the police station and Danny blackmails Syed - the money and he won't have Christian charged.

Syed doesn't say how he gets the money, but it's probably a disaster anyway.

Syed keeps trying to get Christian to believe him, but Christian can't cope anymore, he just feels that's a lie.

Syed doesn't think he can stay with Christian without trust.

Break up.

Zainab comes back - talks to Syed, he rings and BOOM

I must admit it would be a challenge to write them at the moment, can't factor in a Danny.

Ha, maybe in the absence of absolute facts one way or another poor, naive TV Choice are going out on a limb and basing their assumptions on common sense and on canon, screened episodes.

I have to believe that the spoiklers are misleading and that JP's interview was given from Christian's very blinkered perspective. What we saw with our own eyes on Monday/ Tuesday last week was very clear. We are not idiots. And we were watchng extremely closely. Syed was in pieces, completely torn apart by guilt over his betrayal. The idea that he backed out of admitting to sleeping with Danny after seeing Christian's reaction.... ugh, unfortunately I can buy this because Syed has proved himself to be a coward. However I can't accept that he would then have felt able to go on as he did, not just marrying Christian, but marrying him with a look on his face which was open, glowing and full of nothing but love, happiness and certainty of his readiness to commit himself to the man he loves.

During the wedding ep, either:
a) Syed was telling Christian the truth
or
b) Syed was lying and has miraculously gone from the worst liar in the history of soap to the best - to the point that not even those writing for, directing or acting his character knew the truth.

As you say, despite this all evidence is pointing in the other direction. I'll hope for the least bad scenario, i.e. that Chryed's final weeks on screen descend into ridiculous miscommunication-related farce. Maybe Leyton could come back for a cameo appearance. The alternative prospect, that we're about to see all continuity and everything special about Chryed, wrecked - certainly beyond any kind of last minute Julia's Theme repair - for the sake of a week's worth of draama, absolutely disgusts me.

You know it's bad when you get all excited at the sight of Syed packing clown shirt because it's a little part of him you recognise.

Very possibly - I can just see Syed protesting his innocence and Christian doing the big sighing thing.

BIB: Totally this! I can't believe EE are willing to do this with one of their most successful love stories that has been praised a number of times by fans, attracted a huge following and pulled in great viewing figures. Why EE why?? /hmmmm

Don't forget that we will get an ambiguous looks as ee might not give Syed enough words to protest his innocence hence why Christian begins to believe otherwise

I'm struggling to get my head around how little screentime Chryed have had together. They stood next to each other at their wedding for about 2 minutes and they walked out of the tube station together from their honeymoon but apart from that their screentime as a couple has been appalling!!!

At the moment I think Johnny's towing the party line which is that we don't really know what happened between Syed and Danny. We don't know because Syed said on his wedding day that it was just a kiss and Danny says something else. Danny is untrustworthy but Syed is a serial liar and its not that Christian can't forgive Syed for sleeping with someone else, its that he can't bear the thought that Syed might have lied to him.

I think I'm off to write a bit. Simply couldn't bear to watch the BBC3 repeat with all that Joey & Lauren.:yawn:

With this, they could destroy Chryed more in a week than BK & Co managed in two years. And BK wasn't exactly using the gentle touch.
