This. I could really see him do well with the right songs, plus there's the fact that there aren't many similar artists to him out there at the moment.

He was told after his 1st audition that there is a massive gap in the market for someone like him . This person knows his stuff too

He could, as not everyone thinks he's awkward, some find the nerves and occasional laughs endearing.

I think if they went down a Rebecca Ferguson route he could have a huge selling debut. The only thing is Rebecca writes her own material and I don't know if Jahmene does.

I bet SyCo regret letting Joe McElderry go, so they could point him in a similar direction.

Would easily slot into Motown.

Has a wonderful voice.

Can sing when not trying to hard, can't see an attraction. Has he a Market? doubt it, but they can always create one for him if they think there's a likely return. One or two years of compilation cd's for Mums and there's alway's Xmas Carols.

Fantastic voice, probaly the best ever audition on any talent show, but I honestly don't know about him becoming a great live performer. Hearing him is one thing, watching him another. I think he'd make a terrific lead singer in a gospel choir, but solo, on stage,I can't see it.

I think that will change with time. The more confidence he gets the better performer he will become

He will be as successful as Marcus Collins at selling records.

I dont think Joe is a flop.

Hes had a couple of hit albums now, seems to be doing well.

As for Jahmene, hes probably a very niche artist, and that niche wouldnt be chart singles, he could probably shift a few albums of the right material though.

If you get him releasing nice covers of nice songs nicely and release only at mother's day and Christmas he might do okay for a year or so.

I am sure that if he 'flops' as much as Joe he will be very pleased.

So he'd sell vinyl records in the 60s and 70's then?

Marcus Collins tried that, he has already admitted it was a mistake and is stated as doing more contemporary stuff for album #2.

Then again...

He couldn't.

Grannies' market, that's it.

Musical success has little to do with the voice and moreso with the songwriting.
Freddie Mercury was great but it was the songs that did it.

Adam Lambert from American Idol is case in point. Probably the best voice from any competition but it only takes him so far with the songs he's given.

Charisma also helps and Jahmene.......not really

EDIT:......Jahmene could sell records in HMV..?

Too great a voice , despite his nerves. he will just get better and better.
