Just thought I'd start a thread for the new series of Graham Norton which will start off tomorrow night.

The First episode taped Monday will be with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Miranda Hart, Ronnie Corbett and Usher. (Ben Affleck was supposed to be on the show as well, but pulled out. His film premiere was yesterday night)

Episode 2 which will be taped Sunday is the James Bond Special with Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Javier Bardem. No comedian, but I think there will be music. (Adele, perhaps?)

Episode 3, according to the Mirror is seemingly Darcey Bussell, Paul O'Grady and Robbie Williams. No word if there will be somebody else as well or when it will be taped.

That's because another episode is being taped tonight with Dustin Hoffman, Jennifer Saunders, Billy Connolly, Matt Smith and an unnamed musicial act. Could this be episode 4? (I'm getting the info for these last 2 episodes from Twitter)

Ahh this is a bit confusing!!! They are taping out of order. I don't think Wossy does this. (I think they could tape a show a couple days earlier but not a few weeks early) Ah well, Great to have Graham back though!!!

Possibly Christmas special? Matt will be plugging Who Xmas special if that's the case.

The Ross run is coming to an end by Chatty Man is only half way through and is directly up against Norton.

Yes, it's the Christmas Special, from reading tweets from people who went to the taping. The past two years, however, they would film the Special in December, as they would usually have the winners of Strictly Come Dancing on.

Interestingly, Matt Smith has appeared on 3 consecutive Norton Christmas Specials.

The final isn't to the 22nd so the winner wouldn't have been decided when it's set to air, still strange to film so far in advance though.

Miranda and Ronnie Corbett were good value, Arnold Schwarzenegger was incredibly dull though.

To be fair to Arnie he has probably never heard of the other two guests or what their Shows were/are all about! That's always a problem when you mix American and local celebs. I thought he came across quite well under the circumstances.

Sometimes it works to get very different guests on to see how they communicate and bounce off each other. But it didn't work tonight. It was one of those awkward ones.
I'm sure Schwarzenegger and Miranda would have both been better if they'd been on with different people.

I actually thought Mr. S was rather interesting, when I saw he had Arnie on I was like "Really? That'll be dull as dishwasher." But I found him really interesting and not as big headed as I thought he'd be. Usher's song and dancing was great, how can he move so smoothly?

Not so good tonight to start off the series. Two comedians and failure to generate any humor. Look for rapid improvement. Arnold looked strange in some way trying to defy the years.
