I really love Graham Nortons chat show, some of the best entertainment on the telly, the showa with Will i am and Miriam Margoyles...the one with Bradley Cooper. totally fabulous, classic and so funny. Last nights was dreadful, hope it improves. It looked like it was a last minute throw together and it jsut didn't gel.

Ronnie may have been the comedian filler which Norton usually has on each show, though Ronnie didn't have that much to say I prefer guests like him to the likes of Jimmy Carr who seem hellbent on hijacking the show with jokes they use from their standup routines. |

I think it's gone downhill since Jonathan Ross went to ITV.
They've given him Ross' timeslot and now he probably has to have Jonathan Ross' guests on and now it's morphed into a run of the mill chat show. What made his channel 4 (and BBC 2 for a time) chat show so good was that he'd sometimes have quite low key or old school "celebs" on who would be there simply for a chat and a laugh. There was no blockbuster film or book to sell. And of course the audience participation as well. Norton can't be the natural entertainer he is when he's forced into bland rehearsed interview mode. |

I thought it was below par. Listening to Miranda and Ronnie trying to explain the "four candles" sketch to Arnie was just irritating, as it always is when someone tries to explain a joke. Arnie had that air of "I'll nod and smile and pretend to understand and hopefully they'll stop soon".

Miranda was dire, absolutely dire dire dire and yet more bloody irritatingly DIRE!!!!!!
Ronnie was his usual genial self but Arnie was surprisingly good (chat show coached?) ![]() Looking forward to the Bond special cos I'm a fan of all of them and this one has great write ups.

I'm going to have a second helping of the show as it's on again in a few minutes.
Thought it was one of the better ones and judging by the reported lineup in the coming weeks, it could be the only one I watch in the entire series. |

The Marjorie bit had me tearing up. It's been a good show tonight.

Yes a very good show this evening, they all got on well together and nice to have some audience involvement once more.

I missed the name of the musicians. Anybody know who they are?

Is that singer related to Bjork or just an amazing coincidence?

Great show tonight. Loved the audience interaction again and the band were great. Reminded me of The Magic Numbers.

Yeah, enjoyable show. Had a feel of some of the older classic shows.
Javier Bardem is a class act though, would have loved to hear a bit more from him. |

![]() Why did they feel they had a need to explain that joke? Americans have a different humour to us Brits. Personally, I'd rather the whole show with just Arnie, he was far more interesting than Miranda and Ronnie. |

Next weeks lineup looks terrible, Robbie Williams and Paul O Grady.
