The Mirror's Mark Jefferies, says the following about last night's show.

"An impressive acting showcase which wouldn't look out of place on the big screen or the serious stage."

You can't get higher praise than that, so it's great to hear such positive praise because it's fully deserved.

Everyone did well, but imho, Chas, Carl and Cameron were exceptionally good!

Btw. Did anyone else think that Robbie's acting was actually better live than he normally is?
The actor who plays him is one of the least experienced members of the cast and sometimes it shows.
I thought that if anyone would struggle it would be him, but i was pleasantly surprised how well he did.
It seemed that the pressure and reaaly having to focus and get it right bought the best out of him.
Robbie gets an awful lot of stick around here, but for once i think he deserves a bit of credit.

I agree Robbie was better than usual but I still thought Cameron sucked. We all laughed out loud when he screamed "STAY DOWN!".

Agreed, also the bit in the Church where he suddenly stood up and yelled at Carl. And when he backed away from him at the end - his hands and movements were like the blimmin childcatcher.

I thought he was awful.

And it wasn't flawless.
Lucy P and Paula T both stumbled on a few words.
Lucy P banged her head on the van roof, and when Lucy grabbed for the brick, the brick looked so obviously fake!

And if you are going to film a wedding in a tent the size of a village green then you should make it look full.
Either by filling it with more guests or by making the guests stand a bit closer to the camera to make it seem full.

So, no, flawless isn't quite the right word.

Jimmy wasn't in it enough, either.
They could have left Marlon and Laurel out altogether and given Mr James a bit more screen time.
