So, Brenda & Alicia are currently elsewhere in Emmerdale but I reckon all the other main cast members were in last night's live episode apart from Pearl & Alan...seems a pity to have 48 members of the regular cast plus 2 members of the 'supporting' cast (Amelia & Jude) and have those 2 left out...

None of the children actors appeared either, I wonder who was supposed to be looking after all of them? poor old Pearl I suppose?

That isn't true, actually. Sean, Belle and Amelia all put in appearances last night. Personally I think it's shameful that Richard Thorp (Alan) - the show's longest running actor/character, didn't make an appearance. Imagine Corrie had done that with Ken in 2010, there would have been uproar!

Meg johnson(Pearl) refused to appear and Alan i think was supposed to feature but maybe pulled out at last minute as he was credited in the credits last night but Rishi Sharma filled in alan and took his lines

The actress playing Brenda was on sick leave. The actress said she was having an operation so had to be left out of it all, but she returns to filming next week.
