He is such a bad actor. He completely over acts

Disagree totally. I think he's been amazing recently, although I do prefer it when he plays the villain (like he did 2004 - 2006)

Sorry but I have to disagree with you. Nick's been great specially over the last month or two. Let's hope the powers that be don't decide to write Jimmy out of ED. That'd be a crying shame.

He's certainly not the greatest, but he's decent.

Very much like Steve in Coronation Street, he makes up for any deficiencies by being generally likeable, which is invaluable for a soap character.

From what I've observed, audiences like him, and they especially like his relationship with Nicola.
