Which past Emmerdale characters should make a comeback

I've been watching Emmerdale since I was a kid, just because my mum always had it on when I was growing up. I'm 26 now and I still kinda get a tad nostalgic thinking back.

Which old characters from many moons ago would you like to see make a comeback?

Here's a few I wouldn't mind see coming back -

Roy Glover - Shameless is finishing next year, meaning Nicky Evans is out of work...

Alice - Kathy's niece, who she brought up - she'd be in her 20s now and has so many connections who are still in the soap, surely they could take her back in?

Zoe Tate - just because

Kim Tate - again, just because...

Mandy Dingle - she's in Strictly, surely they could make her go back to Emmerdale and visit the family...

There are so many really... What I love about Emmerdale is, unlike the 2 big players, it remains true, it tackles everyday storylines without going too OTT.

None for me, I'm not a fan of rehashing old characters.

Yeah, I've been watching old King episodes and Matt King was sooo evil but genius.

I remember a line he said to Jimmy, Jimmy was telling Matt that he saw it can't remember what, Matt replies something of the lines of "what a goblin riding a unicycle?" it made me giggle I'll never forget it

They were so funny, I was at uni when the Kings were reigning supreme so missed out on a lot of their episodes. Only really watching a few of the big storylines back now. I remember the early days and when the youngest one died - think his name was Max in the car crash but then I lose track.

I'd like Nathan to come back so Cain can belittle him even more

Lady Tara, one of my favourite ever female characters.
Perdy Sinclair, another favourite of mine. Her and Mr Matthew were one of my best couples. If Matthew could be resurrected I would do that too.

Sally Spode!!

She'll break up Laurel and Marlon (hopefully- she really doesn't belong with him) and with any luck, Ashley and Laurel will be back together!

Anyone not killed off ( This is not the BBC) with certain exceptions.

Tom, Matthew and Carl King.
Chris and Frank Tate.
Viv Windsor.
Terry Woods.
Joe Sugden.

Lol, if we're talking which characters could actually return then I'd say Zoe Tate, Annie Sugden and Jo Sugden/Stiles. I would have brought Sadie King back but it wouldn't be the same without Matthew and Carl there.

Roz and Holly. By the time Holly left, she had become similarly free-spirited to Roz. So I would love to see them together in the future.

Otherwise Kathy (of no fixed surname) and Lyn Hutchinson.
