Next series
I think we can almost take it for granted that Strictly Come Dancing will be back for a third series after its success in the ratings. It'll probably be back for Children in Need '05, but which celebrities would you like to participate this time round?
(Personally, I think it attracts 'bigger' celebs than many of the other shows because they don't have to be put through the ritual humiliation of singing or eating insects..) |

There's a similar thread to this already! But here's my choices...
Richard Madeley or Judy Finnigan Nigel Harman - Dennis, EastEnders - he's been to a dancing school. Boris Johnson or Robert Kilroy Silk! Eamon Holmes or Fiona Phillips - GMTV Anne Robinson - Weakest Link |

I cant think of many people, but i'd say people who's careers arent dead but just in need of a boost... like Ben Affleck! LOL |

They'll probably have someone from Eastenders again, or other BBC drama, because they seem to be able to recruit them internally - someone like Kasey Ainsworth or someone like that? I think Fiona Bruce would be good on it too!
And I'm loving the Boris Johnson idea! Now that would be classic. It's not like he has much to do anymore. Either that or Ann Widdecome - it would be very amusing to see her swaying gracefully around a dancefloor. |

They do seem to keep to a formula with their casting:
The Eastenders star Christopher vs Jill The Holby City / Casualty star Sarah vs Verona The male sports star: Martin Offiah v Roger Black The older participant: Ester vs David Diskinson The camp comic: Jason vs Julian The light entertainment female star: Claire Sweeney vs Carol Vorderman |

Yes, if Nigel Harman takes part he has the advantage as he has danced a lot previously and a lot of females (not myself) will just vote for him because of his gorgeous looks! |
