Your Thought On Leanne and Danny's Afair 2005
I'm watching back 2005 episodes of Corrie on YouTube and I think this storyline was brilliant, Leanne was at her peak as a character, she is so different now.
Frankie was a really good character aswell and I liked that Leanne and Danny soon after became a proper couple then that flowed nicely with Mike's alzheimer's storyline and them minipulating him and changing his will. |

Ahhh, back when Leanne still looked and acted like a Battersby.
Short skirts, tacky hair and no morals. Looking at her now she is a completely different character. |

Its so sad how dull she's become.
Leanne's descent into dullardry started when she bought the restaurant with Paul Clayton, she never quite recovered from that and has remained the same ever since. |

Oh I dont know about that, when she returned in 2007 she had changed a bit but had lots more personality then she does now and better storylines too, the lottery scam with Janice for example.

I loved this storyline. Wish Leanne would go back to being the way she was back then.

Stop bashing Leanne!!
![]() ![]() ![]() Joking aside, she probably had more pizazz back when she was a bad'un, but I like the way she's "grown up" - although I admit she became rather tedious towards the end of the love square battles, but didn't they all? She had a lot more freedom when she was only out for herself but since Peter and the stable family aspiration came into play, she's been kind of restricted in creating any explosive drama. Happy, stable families in soaps just don't seem to be a possibility and since this is what Leanne's after, she's automatically fallen into the "dull" category. I still love her though! |

Tony Wood was a much better producer than PC the show seemed better, you had a mix of strong characters and better storylines.

Leanne's character has evolved over the years; mine has, too
![]() Sadly, the writers have not given Jane Danson much to do during the absence of Leanne's husband and his mistress. |

It never grabbed me. I never cared about the players involved - Jamie was too much of a drip and Danny and Frankie were still too new and and not that strong a couple. Still, it was a shame to split them up just a year after they arrived.

At least Leanne was entertaining when she was a prozzie, a druggie, an arsonist, a lottery thief and a cheat having it off with her boyfriend's dad.
She's a Saint now:yawn::sleep: Can't stand her holier than thou attitude these days. |

This. The Baldwins were too new they hadnt engaged with the viewers yet and as a result i struggled to sympathise with Jamie and Frankie who were the intended victims. It also led the the absolutely dreadful Jamie and Frankie affair which bordered on incest and was painful to watch.
Jamie and Frankie's affair, on the other hand, was one of the worst storylines in Corrie during 2006. |

An enjoyable storyline on the whole. Danny and Leanne were an entertaining pair to watch on screen and I like how their romance fed into Mike's health decline and Danny's unscrupulous attempts to get his hands on his father's fortune- further leading to Leanne's revenge when she scarpered to Spain after revealing the original will to Adam.
Jamie and Frankie's affair, on the other hand, was one of the worst storylines in Corrie during 2006. |

But she is not as bad as Tracy who must be on her 4th or 5th personality by now, at least Leanne doesn't regress back to previous personalities as well although in her case I'd say it's a shame she doesn't as she was better before. |

Good god, I remember this!
I seem to recall as well, that Dannys son ended up with his own step mum Frankie. Corri went a little odd on that one haha. |
