Now no one can come and say she never smiles, she actually cracked a small, sly smile she was trying to hide. But I did see it, the little joker in her is cracking out at any moment now.

LMAO, I was actually a bit shocked at first, then realized, that it won't most likely happen again until next year, so I won't write letters to complain!

Funny you should say that. I'm not a fan of Emmerdale but have seen odds and bods of it because my other half watches it. I happened to see last nights and actually asked him has there ever been a time that Debbie smiled! He couldn't remember one and he watches regularly!

My other half watches all that strictly dancing & pop factor stuff on Sat nights (I go to football & get drunk thankfully), & when David was dancing on there, she told me that Debbie was there in the audience cheering him on.

First thing I asked her ...... "Was she smiling???"

The missus reckons she was, but I took it with a pinch of salt as I strongly suspected she'd been at the sherry.

I'd have to see it to believe it I'm afraid.

I don't know your missus but I'd def say she had 'sherry eyes' too! I mean surely not, It just seems too unlikely. On the show after the live eppy, Debbie (sorry don't know actresses name) was on and nope, no smile there either. It was like Debbie was still there!

I rememeber a while back when I saw her as a brunette and she never seemed to smile then either, but I put that down to teenage angst! But I guess she just ain't a smiler

Cheers jende, just as I suspected.

The missus does like a Sat night snifter, her judgement obviously can't be trusted - as I also suspected!

There was a photo of her in one of the mags at thingy Marsh's wedding, I think she was a bridesmaid, everyone else smiling but not her. I remember her at the skating, she was cheering but not smiling. It may be a personality trait.

Maybe best not to say that to your missus though, you may find when coming back drunk from the footy, she's changed the locks

It must have been quite a shock for her though if it really did happen, just incase we're being a bit unfair on your other half. I hardly watch EM, but if I saw Debbie smile, I may need to lie down from the shock.

Lol ... she's always had flawed judgement jende, she married me for starters.

As for changing the locks, I'd never get that lucky!
