1, Virgin. (Current network)
2, Orange. 3, One2One. I don't change phones/networks that often; changed to Virgin from Orange in 2002 and I've been with them ever since. |

1. T-Mobile, excellenct customer service, practically no queues on the phone (10 seconds max), great reliability and coverage, and the online services are a welcome extra (check your bill as the month goes on rather than the end of the month), readly admit (and know about!) problems with handsets and have workarounds that work. You don't feel like the staff want to get rid of you. The best Customer Service staff in the country must work for T-Mobile, they even return calls when they say they will!
(I wish T-Mobile were a LLU providor so i could bypass BT and buy my ADSL connection from them) (T-Mobile are so good i can't call Orange second best, they are leagues apart) 20. Orange (now PAYT only, comments from Contract period) Initally i was very pleased with them, but customer service got progressivly worse, and it took them 3 months of constant nagging before they admitted they had made a mistake and switched me to the wrong tarrif, when my handset went faulty again i switched to T-Mobile. 21. One2One, Average coverage, crap customer services (It's impossible to belive how much they have improved since i from them at Christmas 2000) 22. UK Cellnet, Dire coverage, even worse CS, fortunatly the phone was only a loan and i dumped it after 3 months. 23. BT (Landline), hmm, takes forever to get hold of them and they just love playing pass the customer, when you finally find a good 'un they do everything one would expect, return calls and can't be more helpful, it's just getting to that stage that seams like mission impossible. 24. Sky Talk (Landline), annoying "office hours" opening only, incabable of setting up premium rate call barring, hard to get hold of. 2,893,907. NTL (Landline), the most incompetent company i've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Incabable of setting up a direct debit, complain the audio quality of the line is dire yet don't bother fixing it, impossible to get hold of. Only saving grace was the Customer Service staff, only T-Mobiles are better, they were so friendly and understanding, they deserve a medal for coping with the dire network like that! |

1- Vodafone - Never had any probs with them, should've stayed with them.
2- Orange - No real complaints either. Could do better free texts bundles better. 3- Virgin - Nice n easy. The network that keeps on giving. Free money back on your phone for topping up regularly can't be bad. 4- T-Mobile - Worst reception of all networks. Sitting at a window and I'd get 0 to 1 bar, no matter where in city centre I was. 5- o2 - Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Even the free texts and double minutes on my plan are not going to stop me cancelling my contract. |

1. Virgin Mobile Pay as you Go (Definately the best cs ever!! Lots of free credit too and nicely priced bundles although they could do with more minutes like "3" do maybe up to 800mins or something)
2. Hutchinson 3G UK Ltd - ThreePay - Excellent value for money but crap reception and has the worst cs ever!!! 3. Orange Pay as you Go - I have saved alot of money on sending texts on orange as their only 3p and service is good. 4. T-Mobile even though i fell out with them as their cs couldnt be bothered dealing with one of my enquiries their cs does answer really fast but their priceplans are expensive. 5. O2 Online pay as you Go - Good text deal but not good enough for to make me stay with them expensive call plans and crap cs plus the whole service is just shite! |

try Three with this going on:
a week abroad with the phone displaying "No Service" or "Emergency Only" all the time. a £200 (or however much it is) fee required by 3 to make the phone usuable abroad and an hour on the phone to Three CS (in India no less), trying to explain to them that i want to port my number to O2 (i got the message across in the end and a PAC code for my troubles), as opposed to 10 mins on the phone to O2.... (who were no doubt, easier to talk to and deal with)

I only ever been on two networks One2One(now T-Mobile) and 02 witch im on the now and have been for nearly 5 years. T-Mobile service may have improved a little I dont know but it was not up to much in the old One2One days when I first got a mobile. 02 been fine with me 98% of the time in the 5 years that I been with them. I was with BTCellnet only a few months before 02 tane over and I still with them. Im on my 3rd 02 handset.

The number of people i see in forums saying Three is crap, and then saying they have just got a new/another phone/contract on it, adds up exactly to the number of people who vote 'Don't Know' in TV phone votes. Little known fact that.
![]() I don't live in the sticks, so: 1. O2 2. Three 3. Vodaphone 4. Orange 5. T-Mobile |

Improved? One2One were the best before the EVIL T-Mobile came and took over Things have got much worse. Was it not One2One who lauched Pay as you go? Was it not One2One that was the first and ONLY to give FREE voicemail to everyone. When i was with One2One back in 2000 i was paying Text Messages, 5p. Yes 5p! to other One2One customers, and 10p to non One2One customers. While other network were charging 12p!!!!! Calls to Land Lines , 5p a minute ALL THE TIME. No other network at the time could touch that price! Calls to One2One customers, 10p a minute ALL THE TIME, once again cheaper than other networks. Calls to Other Networks 20p a minute ALL THE TIME. So at peak rate 20p to another network. On most plans Vodafone were charging 45p a MINUTE!! 55p on some! I pay more than that now! Its stupid! I could go on as to why One2One were so good, but i do not want to bore you. So why are T-Mobile better since they 1) Go rid of the 5p texts to same network 2) Made call charges go up 3) Changed from a Nokia to a Sony Erricson system for sending MMS Messages meaning anything over 45K would not send!!!! 4) Handset releases started getting slower 5) Thought it would be funny to start charging £1 for itemised billing. (I bet they wish they had not after so many canceled there contracts early since it broke the contract, hehehe 6) Changed from wanting to be ahead from everyone else to "inline" with everyone else Once again i could have gone on and on if these were fresh in my memory from being with them during One2Ones death ![]() Anyway getting back to the main part...... 1) Orange 2) T-Mobile 3) O2 4) Three 5) Vodafone how some of you are putting Virgin i do not know the thread said Networks not Operators.
