From the X Factor programme the things I'll remember in a positive way are

Jon singing Nessun Dorma and doing 'air guitar' during Bohemian Rhapsody

Rowetta singing McArthur Park and her memorable 'I'm through...aren't I?' line. Fab. Ro mentioning PIV.

Cassie singing Alfie. <---- me.

Simon hugging Steve when he'd got through to the final.

Tabby Everytime he stepped on the stage Electric.

On the Forum -

For laughs - Chuh, PIV, seaview, ArtyAttack, pennycandle and Sara and Emma.

For the voice of reason - Spellbound, Kewpee and stillrockin.

For lovely niceness - thms, shortysally and wee-ding-dong.

And all the group hug posts that cleared up the madness!!

It has had its better moments!!!

For me, there were lots of memorable moments:

First audition show.....feeling so bad for Steve when they rejected him and then Simon getting him to go back in..I'd already fallen for his voice big time then...even though he looked a right scruff then! LOL

Watching with my mouth wide open when Rowetta auditioned.....I thought she was just a looney tune with an okay voice..fave line from her other than the one you mentioned Zip, was 'You've got to let me through, I'm 38, my mum will kill me!' But when I saw her again on boot camp, my jaw dropped at how gob-smackingly brilliant she sounded!

Cassie's gutter-mouth incident! Very funny!

Last week when Steve made it to the final and Simon's reaction to that.

Kate Thornton announcing that 'The winner of the X Factor is ......STEVE!!!'

Actual show performances:

Rowetta singing Somewhere. She blew me away so much that I cried. Phenomenal.

Steve singing Smile. I started to believe he could win it after that.

Cassie singing Alfie. Not keen on the song but she delivered it like she'd been singing it all her life.

Tabby singing My Oh My. He was fantastic and a star was born that night.

G4 singing Nessun Dorma. Outstanding.

On the forums:

Meeting all the lovely Team Steve folk, especially shortysally who is the nicest wee peep ever! For a 15 year old she could show a lot of us older posters how to behave maturely. J

Seaviewuk for giving me the best laugh with his Jon does Freddie thread……everybody took it in the fun it was intended. J

Rowetta posting here and then saying hi to PIV and the Go Ro campainers on Xtra Factor.

Zip for always being the voice of reason and always apologising if she thought she might be saying something controversial

And the G4 fans who were brilliant after being so disappointed in their favourites losing.

Awwwww this is so cute

My memorable moments...

On the show:

Voices With Soul....for being so funny and above all LOUD ....and being so transfixed with the "washin machiiiiiine"

G4 for some of their amazing performances!

Simon for being so damn cute and honest and lovely!

Tabby: For being a wee rocker and at least really entertaining the crowd!!

Rowetta: For blowing me away with her performances...especially Somewhere Over The Rainbow and When You Tell Me That You Love Me...for being nutty (in a nice way!) and also mentioning PIV and DS on the Xtra Factor!!

Cassie: For being a sweet girl with a very good voice (most of the time!)...even though at times she did have a rather foul mouth she did some great performances!

STEVE!!: For having me glued to my TV, his amazing performances and above all....the moment when he was crowned winner of the X Factor

From the forums:

All of team Steve who have had me with a huge smile on my face with a lot of their post....huge hugs go out to all of you guys!! Especially Auntie K (wee_ding_dong!...who is totally sweet too despite what she may say stating otherwise!) also Seaview (the dad! lol!), Eileen, Susann, surfchick, annabelle, Deelight, robsnip and anyone else I may have missed (I bet I have missed someone as well! ) Loads of love and ***STEVE DUST*** to all of you!!

ZipGypsy for being so fair and fun as always ...Chuh and Penny who have made me laugh out loud with some of their posts!...Everyone who wrote poems or altered lyrics on some of the very funny threads that were flying around!!

Team G4, the Go Ro Campaigners (especially PIV who always has such amazingly informative posts!) and Team Tabby who were so lovely about it all when they were pipped by Steve! and I couldn't possibly leave out thms, Spellbound, ArtyAttack or Ena Sharples either!

I forgot SCAB!!...Edit to add SCAB and also anneonholiday...whom I don't know how I forgot! LOL

Seriously though....this series has been so fun!! Thank you for the nice things you've said about me too!! Lots of love and extra ****PINK SPARKLY STEVE DUST**** to each and every one of you!!!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!

Lots of love,

Team No Team

In a vague order.....

1. The moment when G4 sang Bohemian Rhapsody in the first audition show
2. The G4 'Call on me' pilates stretching moment on Xtra Factor, rrrrrrrow!
3. Cassie doing an amazing job on Without You and sounding like a seasoned performer. Good to see Simon proved wrong
4. The adorableness of Andy Steed. Why didn't you put him through Sharon? He may not have had the best singing voice in the world but he had X-Factor in bucketloads and the girly vote would have been guaranteed.
5. 'Look at the arse on that!' - Matt (G4), Xtra Factor
6. Rowetta's barking first audition!
7. VWS laughing and for proving that girls from Luton aren't always chavs!
8. Sharon being (for the most part) faaaaaaabulous
9. Matt and Ben from G4 pogo-ing on stage when G4 reached the final 2
10. Ben's (G4) amazing transformation from student to sex-god!!

On the forums....the amazingly passionate views expressed by die-hard fans of all contestants!

Team G4 - I lurked for ages before getting up the courage to post but you made me laugh so much. I can never look at a flute in the same way again long may the madness continue!!

Nice idea Zip

My memorable moments-

Jon's face when they got put in Louis final five and his even better one when they got put in the final three

G4 doing, well just about everything but then I'm biaised. I think Nessun Dorma had the edge though.

Tabby doing My oh My with the kids

Jon's comeback to Simon about people loving them and hating them

Steve in the boot camp doing Dance with my father (wonder why he didn't do it on the show, it was awesome)

Terry crying when Andy was singing in the final auditions.

On the forum -

Team G4, every single one of them for their fun and genuine niceness

Penny and Chuh and The Magic Flute conversations *cough*

Nice people like Spell and Wee ding dong, smoothing things out for the rest of us.

SeaviewUK for the lovely pics of G4 and for showing me how easy it is to judge someone wrongly on a forum like this and how something really small can change your opinon about someone and make you realise how wrong you were

And the other teams, Team Steve, Team Tabby, the Go Ro Campaign, Team no Team (absolutely hilarious) Team Apathy and any other team I've missed.

Its been up and down for me but its been fun.

Oh my god I don't know where to start!!

ok, in no particular order

G4 - absolutely EVERYTHING about them, may their career be a long and happy one!

Steve - singing Smile - that was beautiful, and cryin when Cassie left

Tabby - singing My Oh My - his best performance by far

Cassie - singing All By Myself - I actually liked it - it grew on me

The Chicken Man - bless his heart - really really wrong though!!

Andy singing The Long and Winding Road and making Terry cry - that was one of the best performances of the entire series!

Simon huggin Steve when he knew he was in the final - oh the relief!! lol

As much as i might want to forget some of the discussions within Team G4 I know I never will! And I'll never forget Pennycandle or Chuh.

I would also like to thank a few people...

I'd like to thank all the people that have been rude to me - you've taught me to be tougher

I want to thank ALL of Team G4 - you've been amazing to know and i hope to see you all at G4's concerts - don't ever forget them.

And on a personal note i want to thank Spellbound. Darling we have had some bloody good laughs in the past few weeks (god bless MSN)!! When I joined this forum i never expected to make a friend - and that is what you have become, a true friend. Oh my days...I'm laughing so much here...you all have reminded me of so many funny moments!

On the show...

G4 and their pilates/PELVIC THRUSTS!! Waheyyy

Thank you Sally for reminding me of the VWS and their washing machine and their fabulous laugh...they should have their own chat show...would be hilarious!

Andy Steed...love him Just fabulous...how the hell did Roberta get to the final 3?

G4 altogether...every week they put a smile on my face

Tabby on Xtra Factor...he always looked so bored...hilarious to watch him fidgeting every 2 seconds!!

and finally on the forum..

Team G4 firstly...you lot have kept me entertained for the past month! You all are wonderful...Big shout outs (god here's the inner teen coming out!) to Gem, Gwen, Lola, Emzy + Spell (sorry if I forgot you...but I do love you anyway )

Obviously Penny for having some hilarious conversations with me...Magic Flute for instance...Don't think i could ever see a flute again without thinking of J! The other half of the Sexy Sirens...and you've turned me into an alcoholic now

Spell for her excellent posts...get well soon hun!

Zip for just being lovely all the time

The Stevettes...my new friends...Great bunch over there...Sally + her kids in the cupboard, Moogester my fellow chavland friend () , Eileen + Susann just to name a few...Bloody great you lot are...But you must stop with all the Steve Dust...I'm allergic

Also to my Mother M...she's kept me amused with her Steve obsession...she fell off the sofa last night when he won...priceless she is (and the fact she don't know I hid the phone from her each week!!!)

Sorry if I've forgotten you!

Sorry everyone - but I just had to do this in rhyme!

Steve’s face when Ms Osbourne got nasty last night
G4 – Nessun Dorma - just sounded so right
Tabby pretending he plays the guitar
Rowetta the most unpredictable star
Cassie’s song Alfie – it just made me smile
Voices With Soul when they showed their new style
2 to Go’s sax and piano was great
Verity’s tears every week (what a state)
Roberta so pretty, but first to be out
A great competition for me there’s no doubt
The forum had plenty to keep me amused
To watch all opinions both praised and abused
My life now seems empty, what am I to do
I’ll just cannot wait until X Factor 2!

The show:

Tabby for being Tabby, always modest and looking really embarassed when praised. I loved his rendition of Maggie May at Boot camp and his loyalty and friendship to Ro, they so obviously got on famously.

Rowetta for being as mad as a box of Frogs and keeping me in suspense every week, wondering what she would do next.

VWS for being such hilariously funny girls, they so obviously had the others in fits most of the time.

Cassie for wearing that ridiculous outfit when she Sang Alfie (clearly and effortlessly IMO), she looked like a character from a Dickens novel but she still got the job done.

Jon from G4 for always having something to say, even when it wasn't necessary.

On The Forum:

Jeanie for being my only soulmate in the Tabby camp for the first few days, then along came crazypanda, SRFC, stillrockin, shell, and all the other members of Team Tabby who have maintained a happy hopefullness throughout, for which I am very grateful. They have all made the Team Tabby thread a haven of tranquility during the many storms on here.

Zip for being Zip, being there when she was needed, and having the knack to turn a confrontation into a good 'ole knees up.

whip and moneybags, my two most beligerent adversary's over Tabby. Both have been on my tail a lot, but they have done it with fun and sweetness, so I count them as friends on here even though I am going to have a long job educating them in all things Tabby.

Team Steve, Team G4 and The Go Ro Campaigners, all very loyal, at times very funny and all welcoming.

seavy wuk for bringing a much needed bit of fun and starting some funny threads, 'Jon sings Queen' was a blinder. He also came up with some great pics for all the fans on here.

Spellbound, AM, thms, PIV all great FM's, some very eloquent, others saying the right thing with just a few words.

Histeria and many more who spent hours on the 'Tabby doesn't Play the Guitar' thread, giving their informed opinions with patience and fortitude.......even though they must have very sore heads from all that banging against a brick wall.

Loads more probably, I've probably missed some, and will be back to edit no doubt.

I never like singling out anyone in particular, so I am going to say EVERYONE, apart from the odd few here and there, on this forum is special and I enjoyed almost all the X Factor bits, but my favourite piece will always be the huge hug Simon gave to a bemused Steve, when Steve got through to the final. Ok then I will give a special mention to Sal and Chuh, they are great and to Chuh's mum, hiding that phone from her didn't help though

I love you all so much I might just treat all of team Tabby, G4 and Steve to Steve's new single ok so I can't afford to but the thought was there

Incase I don't see some of you posting on here for a while, then a ***Merry Christmas *** to you all

And no X Factor 2 for me I don't think I can take the stress, and neither can Chuh's mum I don't think

The show

TABBY: His cheeky smile and that half a head bang when he sings, and My oh my which has to be his best performance of the series!

ROWETTA: For being herself all the way through, and the way she went off on one at the first audition without letting the judges speak.

VWS: THAT laugh! it had me in stitches every time!

ANDY making Terry cry when he sang long and winding road! I cried with him!

JON: His facial expressions when he sings and the way he fought back at the judges even when it wasnt necessary!

STEVE: He earned the right to win fairly, and the way, when he smiled you just couldnt help smiling back at the tv!
On the forum:

TEAM TABBY of course, all of you have been great throughout, Kewpee, Zipgypsy,Stillrockin,Jeannie, crazypanda and SRFC (for making us wait the longest time to find out Tabbys song choices! ) and everyone else(sorry if i forgot u) You were all there just to talk about Tabby and the unholy thoughts some of us have!
You were also there just to get away from the rest of the threads when WW3 broke out!

Seaviewuk for his many threads that made most, if not all of us laugh, an the many pics of Tabby he provided to us all!
Moneybags, whip and a few others who tried to wind alot of us up in jest
We know you love Tabby really!
Thats all i can think of at the moment, il probably be back!

The show-
Tabby forgetting his words in boot camp. Daughter calls him a twit, I go "no he's not he's fit", only for her to go "yeah I know"! One of those moments I shall never forget.

Kate chasing Ro down the corridor after her audition and, predictably, "I'm through aren't I?"

G4 doing Britney, haven't laughed so much in ages- "oh baby baby"! Also for broadening my taste in music and making me realise talent comes in many different forms.

Steve and Lloyd duetting "Ain't no mountain high enough" in boot camp.

Cassie spitting like a filthy old man in Sharon's garden, never thought she had it in her!

Peter's sarcasm, VWS hitting the floor in shock, Minnie the dog going "clap clap clap".......

The forum-
I've been on here less than a week and already I've made so many new friends. Team Tabby- Kewpee, Jeanie, Crazypanda, Shell, Diane and everyone I've forgotten, you all rock! The forum wouldn't be the same without you.

Team Steve and Team G4, big hugs all round

Team no team- pure genius!

I think that comment sums it all up for me

Personally I think "Hit me Baby One More Time" is destined to be an all-time classic of reality TV. Anybody else think they should so a special performance for the next Comic Relief?
