I hope we carry on talking and havin a laugh and I hope you start feeling better soon, we have got too much planned and i'm getting fidgety!
Your present is in the post soon, hope u like it - ud b MAD not to!
You know I love u girl!”

Honey it's been a pleasure meeting you, we've had some great times and long may they continue I stand by everything I've said to you, and, if you can be patient enough to wait 'til I'm well, we'll put those plans into action. You're a star.

Fav show moments: Mainly revolve around G4 - from the moment they stepped up to audition and I literally cheered with excitement - classical voices on a saturday night entertainment show, how fab!

Their sheer amazement every time they were put through; Jon's comebacks to Simon, particularly the oh-so-controversial last one, where he echoed exactly what I was thinking; every single perfomance they gave. Their making the final, I never doubted their ability, but I underestimated the public. The way they conducted themselves with total professionalism. Their outstanding final performances.

VWS - for being so bloody hilarious

Tabby - Maggy May. I thought 'ooo, there's a voice there somewhere!'

Cassie - her personality coming through more and more each week.

The look on Simon's face when G4 were put through to the final - hilarious and then his sheer relief when Steve's name was called next, and consequently nearly strangling him!

Defining moment: G4's 'Creep' in Dublin. Just wicked

On The Forum :

My very first appearance, posting in defence of G4 and finding myself in the middle of WW3 talk about in at the deep end!

The lovely atmosphere and buzz during the build up to the live shows.

Those people who were just thoroughly nice, those that always provided the voice of reason, decent debate, and who forced me to consider the opposing argument without telling me off for being biased TOO often , to include Zip, Kewpee, Stillrockin, Kippery, wee-ding-dong, Tigerlilly, Satchmo, I'm sure there are many more, forgive me, it's late!

Team G4, I've laughed with you (and quite often AT you, too ), cried with you, argued with you, celebrated with you, despite the ups and downs, I'll never forget you. The original and best G4 fan club!

Special mentions go to Emzy, for being such a lovely friend, and to Alrightmate, who didn't go easy on me when I first arrived, disagreed with me on every point I made about the brilliance of G4, challenged me and made me think and yet was gracious enough to PM me after the final to tell me he thought G4 were outstanding.

I've enjoyed being here, despite spending a lot of time having to wade through the cr*p, and hope to continue chatting to some of you for a good while yet. Thanks for keeping me amused while I'm hibernating

My longest post yet? Nah, didn't think so

Spell...I remember them showing the Elvis guy going through and thinking what the....? So I guess they DID know! LOL

[Edited to say that another of my forum highlights has got to be Team No Team. I only just discovered this tonight and it was HILARIOUS!!]

Brad Roberts (Crash Test Dummies) does a fantastic version of HMBOMT (deliberately funny drunken karaoke - also does the same with Unbreak my Heart).

Maybe there should be a HMB tribute album. Tabby and Ozzie could do a duet!

My fave moments:

The prog:

Sharon's outburst. If you've got the power - use it; if you've got the money, what the hell!

G4 growing from prog to prog, especially when it was clear Team Louis had butted out of most of the arranging.

Steve doing the opposite (for me). I quite liked him at audition, but methinks he protesteth too much.

Delight when Steve won - hurrah, G4's lucky escape.

Creep - because I missed the first one.

The forum for making it all fun!

The Forum:

The arguments!! Fun to watch

The teens - Chuh, Emzy, etc etc for having more sense than some of their elders (some of you people should be ashamed!)...and for being so in lurve (took me back...)

Spells insights - my musical ability stopped at Grade 1 CD loading, so it has been an added factor to xfactor.

The parodies - Ena Satch Diva Anneon etc etc. and Team no Team - now that's what I call forum! Inspiration out of desperation

Everyone for getting me through a fraught work time that often took me through the night, and added much light relief while OH is overseas.

(And I only joined to vet for teenage use....Now they are banned because I enjoy it too much - and because I have seen what Mother M has had to endure )

How did I MISS this thread???

HIGHS

Obviously the WONDERFUL ROWETTA!!!!! From the first unforgettable audition,to her heartbreaking final performance of WYTMTYLM,I cried like a big girl!!
.

The GRC with every member a cherished matey,so I won't name them all,I don't want to be a plum and forget anyone...(all so BRILLIANT!)and to the "Amazing"Rowetta for giving us a SHOUT out on Extra.....BEST EVER moment for GRC that was IMHO....GRC THE HOME OF RO-LOVE bar none!!!!! Unforgettable moment.(bless you Rowetta XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)

My buddy and now fellow Go-Roer Zip,who was always a Trevor fan and really warmed to Ro as the weeks went by....

LOWS

Waving goodbye (but really only Au Revoir)to the fragrant ROWETTA,it was such a TRAVESTY for her to leave after what was her FINEST EVER X FACTOR performance...

Seeing The Grinch named X Factor winner? surely some mistake?

MEGA HIGHS

Hearing how well Rowetta did at Club GAY,"Last Chance "went down a storm...

MEGA LOWS
I was on the "Sick List" and missed her TRIUMPH.
