I've probably seen just about every episode of the show, I wrote a language paper about it, and I'm watching it right now.
Amazing show. They come on Hallmark here. I'm not sure about UK. Some of the episodes are on YouTube. |

Living showed it every weekend morning at 9am for years repeated numerous times but they stopped just before being bought by Sky no other channel in UK currently repeats it from what I have seen. The last season was awful it went on one season too many but was still funny.
The Golden Palace was it a big mistake? |

Golden Girls is one of the best and funniest TV shows of all time in my opinion. I have the first 4 seasons on DVD. My favourite characters were Blanche Devereux and Dorothy Zbornak. Class.

They all crack me up too. I think my favorite lines from Sophia are:
Blanche: Oh girls, I've got writer's block, It is the worst feeling in the world. Sophia: Try ten days without a bowel movement sometime Blanche: You just sit there hour after hour after hour Sophia: Tell me about it! There's MANY more, and who can forget Rose's St. Olaf stories!

Big part of my childhood this show was.
Always loved Estelle Getty. Shame 3 of the 4 died in real life. |

I love the show. I bought a diamond and ruby ring owned by Rue McClanahan at an auction earlier this year.
